We had a nice piece of furniture that had cubbies for holding 8 cream-colored fabric storage baskets. Eventually the baskets needed cleaning but they had a sewn-in cardboard bottom and couldn't be washed. These fit perfectly! But! We keep pulling them out of the shelving unit and using them to tote things around in. I have many of these same baskets but the six I just received are part shiny and part matte. It looks like something oily was spilled haphazardly all over inside and out. Nothing wipes off so I assume they are safe to use. As they are in a closet it is not as important but surprised as bought direct from company where as others I bought were from big box stores. I am sure these would be considered seconds and the price was steep for what I received. ... show more
