I bought this for my 9 month old son and he absolutely loved it. It was a good outlet for him to keep him from playing with the actual Christmas tree. It isn't particularly sturdy though, very easy for a toddler to topple it over, but it's not heavy at all so no harm done when it would fall.

my 10 month old loves this toy. he loves all the ornaments and the tree is sturdy enough where he can use it to help him stand. my favorite thing about this toy was the easy assembly. this is the easiest toy i've ever assembled. I do wish the toy had some lights and sound for the price though

I caved and bought the tree for my child’s room for the holidays. It’s a nice toy for them to have during the holidays. I think any child after 1 years old will enjoy it. My son loves playing with the different ornaments and the train that it comes with. It comes with extra ornaments too that they can place on the bottom part of the tree. The media could not be loaded. Bought “like new” and it’s in perfect condition. My kids love it, my only concern is it’s a bit unstable. The tree is very easily toppled to the front/back. It would benefit future models if Step2 incorporated some sort of system for the bottom tree piece to lock into the base. Otherwise, easy to clean, colorful, intriguing to little ones, and we'll figure out a way to make it more stable while still being able to disassemble. Great purchase! Update: I applied one set of Velcro command strips to either (long) side of the first tree piece before giving it a good shove into the base, and it’s far sturdier now. My kids can hang on it now without issue. There are surely more secure ways to resolve the stability issue but this is less permanent and works really well. ... show more

This was our first Christmas with our son who gets into everything so we didn’t want to put a real tree up. We bought this instead and he loved it. I plan to put it in his room next year.
