We already had (and loved) step2 flip seats and so when I saw the seashell flip seat, I was so excited! We love these seats for the pool as they make it comfortable to sit along the edge while I watch my kids play and am able to easily slide off the seat into the pool when I get hot or just enjoy from the comfort of sitting from the edge of the pool. If you are sitting pool side, watching small young children, reading on the side of the pool place a light weight towel on plastic chair as it gets very hot in the sun. - that is the only down side. It is light weight, folds down flat and does have a handle. I gave 2 of these chairs as a gift to my daughter. I love to sit on the side of the pool with my feet in the water but hate getting pulls on the bottom of my bathingsuit. I placed the chairs near the steps for easy stepping up or down to the seat. I’m really impressed with this flip seat! There was absolutely no assembly required. I just pulled it out of the box, flipped it open, and it was ready to go. We got both the adult and kid options, and they’ve been great for everyone in our family. Each one fits perfectly on the edge of the pool and feels very secure thanks to the front lip design. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, but still sturdy and comfortable with great back support. I especially love using it after swimming since it helps prevent my bathing suit from pilling on rough surfaces. The quality is excellent.
