I have bought this item in the past and it worked fine on one of my helmets. I think the company may have changed production of this because it didn’t seem as solid as the last one I got. I purchased this second one for a new helmet and unfortunately the adhesive did not stick well to my new helmet! The adhesive was not strong enough and I ended up losing the light and this magnet holder while I was out on a ride! I came back and it was had fallen off without me knowing… No good… UPDATE. The company sent out a replacement. It appears that the previous one sent out may have been defective and the adhesive did not stick. The replacement is sticking as it should.     • Adhesive will fail within weeks of use.
Te adhesive doesn't last and the mount will come off. Use a better adhesive and it will work.
