Mavis was told not to do anything but change the tires. Tryed to sell me wiper blades. I said no, they were new. Tried to sell me brakes and again I said I told you just the tires. 20 minutes later with all the tires off the truck the guy started messing with the brakes. I got loud now and the service writter stopped him. He finnished the truck and when I went out he never put the caps on the 4 valves I just bought. Got in my car to leave and my brake light and display were on telling me to service brakes. I called in a complaint to there main #. This will wind up costing me more than the tires to find out what was done. Found out they triggered the onboard computer for the alarm, brake light on dash and the display to Service Brakes Soon. I guess they expected me to go back inside to get my brakes done. I had checked my brakes before I went to mavis and have 3/4 pad life left on all fours and the brakes work great. Bought these two years ago and put 30k miles on them. I probably have until this December (currently June) when i will replace them but i can stretch them to summer next year but Hawaii "winters" can get very wet. Wishing i got a bit more mileage out of them but for the price, i cant complain at all. Tire noise, ride comfort were great. Bought these because the Michelline Defenders I had on my SUV were crazy loud! These are nice and quiet and definitely improved ride quality as well. I was hoping to see an increase in mpg, haven't quite seen that yet, but it's early. The important thing is that there's very little road noise!
