Description

The Starfire Solarus AP All-Season 265/65R18 114T Tire has sharp-angled all- purpose center blocks which have been designed to enhance traction on dirt paths, gravel roads and farmland, while still providing strong on-road performance. Designed for all-purpose, all-terrain capability with all-season traction while providing a quiet ride at an affordable price. The wide anti- hydroplane grooves on each side help flush out the water from the tire, which improves wet traction and resistance to hydroplanning. Wet and snow traction is strengthened by full-depth biting edges or "all-season sipes". The quiet Zig-Zag pattern disrupts air flow through the tread which reduces noise for a quiet ride. The Starfire Solarus AP comes with a great 50,000 mile warranty. The Starfire Solarus AP is an all-terrain tire for full sized pickup trucks and various SUVs.

*** updated at 13k miles. Still a great tire. They are quiet and grip well in wet or dry conditions. I haven’t had much issue with them grabbing rocks either *** Here’s my 3k mile review. I use these tires in coastal Florida Extremely quiet ride, handle corners well, cut through water good on the road (no hydroplaning felt) , grip fairly well in the loose sand on a half ton pickup truck, they grip great in grass. The tires pickup small debris and retain some in the tread, which should be expected. Tires balanced with a small amount of weight. My gas mileage decreased 3 mpg on the highway, a less measurable amount in the city. For the price, they are a great tire. Time will tell how they hold up for longevity. ... show more

I have already traveled over 30,000 miles on these tires and they still going as new. Threads are high and they performed well in dry and wet condition. I can hardly hear road noise. It's a great buy. Will recommend them. I'll be buying again when needed.

Just put them on today 6/16/2024, so far they ride quiet, good traction on hot texas roads! No more tires spinning at every red light with minimum throttle! We will see how it goes in a month or so! Update: 2/4/2025 ...tires are still doing great, tread is holding up fine...my only complaint is they are a bit rougher ride! Feels like the tires aren't balanced above 60mph but they have been balanced twice! But thats it! Everything else is good! ... show more

I've driven these tires less than 20k miles. When I was at the shop getting my wheels aligned, we noticed a huge defect on the inside wall of the front driver side tire. None of my other wheels have this issue and I get my wheels aligned regularly. I've ontacted warranty claims twice and after two months I still haven't heard back. I would recommend spending a little more on a non Chinese brand of tire and don't make the same mistake I did. These tires are junk... ... show more
