I live in Arizona. That being said, i usually go through a decal every 6 months or so, until i found this bad boy. The other stickers i found would always be the cheap plastic square deal that bubbled and peeled at the edges. Not this one. This guy is made out of vinyl. It's built more to withstand the elements than your average bumper sticker material. While yes it is bigger, the application is still very easy. It comes on sort of a wax paper deal (i thought it was part of the sticker at first, but it peeled off leaving the star of life white outline on the back window), which leaves the snake/staff right in the middle where it's supposed to be (no guess work/rotated angles compared to the outer star). The other part that i like is that the inside (the non-white) isn't clear vinyl, it's an actual star cutout- so you have a white outline on a black (tinted) background. 2 thumbs up for visibility pro's- highly visible, easy to apply, doesn't bubble/raise on the edges, came as promised (you know, the shape was right.. you'd be surprised)and is almost scratch resistant con's- it's a bit bigger than the other decals you'll find, so if you're going to try and match a Maltese on the opposite side make sure you find one with similar dimensions. i would buy this again, i would recommend to friends ... show more

Easy to apply. For those who were curious it goes on as a three layer transfer. The first layer you peel exposes the adhesive. You then slap this on to the surface and smooth out the air bubbles as best you can. Then you peel off the top layer. Like an idiot I didn't know about the top layer so I drove around with this bubbly piece of plastic for 2 days before I started picking at it. The final result was exactly like you see in the photo - after you peel off the last layer the vinyl sticker is left looking crisp and nice. I'm a Paramedic in training and wanted to show my pride in my future career.first off it arrived 4 days early (to Puerto Rico!)so amazing customer service,they shipped it first class. The instructions where extremely simple and the application process went without a hitch but do take the time to CAREFULLY read the instructions overall great product but I will add having applied it today this is only my experience so far not sure how things will go when I wash my car. PS. Two tips to help things along: 1.watch a video on youtube about applying car decals it will greatly improve your chances of a flawless application 2.EXTREMELY IMPORTANT do not use windex or similar products to clean window/glass before applying it leaves a residue which prevents the decal from sticking correctly use rubbing alcohol instead and avoid this problem. -KDL ... show more

I didn't know the back part came off lol so I thought it was coming off. I thought it was a POS. But it hasnt peeled since and so far so good. Its been about 4 months.

This is a nice alternative to the standard blue EMS sticker. It took a few minutes to get the actual sticker off the contact paper. It looks great, but after 1 car wash, its already starting to slightly peel. not sure how long it will last...

Good vinyl decal, though I didn't use the Star of Life, just the Rod of Asclepius. It is large and gets a lot of attention, and the price is totally worth it. I've had it on my car for two brutal north eastern years and it has held up just fine. Under mine, I have another sticker that says "Medical Information Inside," directing first responders to look for the medical information pouch fixed to the top of my steering column. I always like to let people know the information they need to treat me if I can't answer their questions directly... or clearly. ... show more
