My wife passed away suddenly (only 58 years old). We had always planned to be cremated. Sadly, we never discussed what to do with our ashes. She loved carved wooden boxes and had several she kept trinkets in, so I began looking. She was a Wiccan and would have liked the wood and appreciated the tree of life carving. The carving looks very nice by the way. She only weighed about 95lbs (at 5'0"), there was plenty of room for her and some personal items. I saw the exact same box (same manufacturer) at the funeral home for $300+. My baby would have had a fit if I paid that much, for a wooden box. I also like that I can keep it on her altar, and it doesn't have the creepy vibe an urn would have. It doesn't look gloomy, and guests don't immediately recognize what it is.
