I recently wrote a review on Stanley's 24" magnetic level. I extolled it virtues and went on and on about how great it was. It is a fabulous product, but this one is even better.     • Simple, convenient level, and the perfect size for an apartment.
I would have loved one of those super long levels, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of storing it. I wanted a level for small projects around the house; this fit the bill. I opted for the cheaper Stanley model over some of the more expensive brands, and I'm glad I did, because this works great. It's a cute little size, so if you need it for some huge furniture/construction project, this may not be right; but for me, I've been able to use it to hang a knife bar, frames, and level out an IKEA book shelf. I like the size of this and can hold it in one hand and it is light weight. Markings for the measurements are easy to read and are well laid out. It has been very handy in small tight spaces and for carrying around on belt to take quick measurements. The level works pretty good also. It is well made and durable, heavy material on it. I would recommend this to others and I would buy more if I need more later. ... show more

Works very well. I got it out of the box, placed it on my countertop and saw the bubble was off. I thought I had a bad level, then I remembered gravity doesn't work selectively, and I realized my countertop is not level. the magnet is handy, but it also means this item does not have any side worth using as a precise straight edge. This is a great little level! I love how it is magnetic because it is very helpful when trying to level something it can stick to (it is a weak magnet but it works). It is quite small making it easy to handle and very versatile. It is easy to read and use. This is really an essential tool to any homeowner. It is a very simple bubble level. It has worked perfectly every time that I have used it. Not much can go wrong with one of these as long as it is made flat which this one is indeed level. It is very durable, though I don't suggest dropping it because that is how your level becomes unlevel... I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a level of this size. ... show more

In most of my reviews, I try to go into the strengths and details of the product, but there's not a ton to say here, but it's all good: it's made out of durable plastic and has levels at different angles for your convenience. Might be worth noting most smartphones support virtual level apps using their accelerometer, but the "analog" version is fairly inexpensive and not prone to miscalibration, relying on simple physics to function. ... show more
