Description

The STANLEY 9-inch Magnetic Torpedo Level is compact and shock resistant. The bi-material body with rubber end caps protect finished work surfaces from damage and provide shock absorbing protect to bubble vials. With a heavy-duty aluminum frame, open top-read vial, and pipe groove for use on rounded surfaces, this leveler tool is built for accuracy, ease of use and durability. From the Manufacturer Heavy-duty aluminum frame ensures accuracy and durability. Open, top-read vial provides maximum readability. Bi-material body with rubber ends for shock absorption. Non-marring feet can be used on finished surfaces without damage. Pipe groove makes it a good choice for use on rounded surfaces. Water resistant for use in wet or humid conditions. Great product
I recently wrote a review on Stanley's 24" magnetic level. I extolled it virtues and went on and on about how great it was. It is a fabulous product, but this one is even better. The magnet is unbelievably strong and this is a great little level for those small spots when a longer one just won't work. Stanley has the magnetic level thing figured out. Simple, convenient level, and the perfect size for an apartment.
I would have loved one of those super long levels, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of storing it. I wanted a level for small projects around the house; this fit the bill. I opted for the cheaper Stanley model over some of the more expensive brands, and I'm glad I did, because this works great. It's a cute little size, so if you need it for some huge furniture/construction project, this may not be right; but for me, I've been able to use it to hang a knife bar, frames, and level out an IKEA book shelf. Works well.
I like the size of this and can hold it in one hand and it is light weight. Markings for the measurements are easy to read and are well laid out. It has been very handy in small tight spaces and for carrying around on belt to take quick measurements. The level works pretty good also. It is well made and durable, heavy material on it. I would recommend this to others and I would buy more if I need more later. ... show more

I thought I had a bad level, then I remembered gravity doesn't work selectively
Works very well. I got it out of the box, placed it on my countertop and saw the bubble was off. I thought I had a bad level, then I remembered gravity doesn't work selectively, and I realized my countertop is not level. the magnet is handy, but it also means this item does not have any side worth using as a precise straight edge. Great level for any homeowner
This is a great little level! I love how it is magnetic because it is very helpful when trying to level something it can stick to (it is a weak magnet but it works). It is quite small making it easy to handle and very versatile. It is easy to read and use. This is really an essential tool to any homeowner. Works Great
It is a very simple bubble level. It has worked perfectly every time that I have used it. Not much can go wrong with one of these as long as it is made flat which this one is indeed level. It is very durable, though I don't suggest dropping it because that is how your level becomes unlevel... I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a level of this size. ... show more

Exactly As Expected
In most of my reviews, I try to go into the strengths and details of the product, but there's not a ton to say here, but it's all good: it's made out of durable plastic and has levels at different angles for your convenience. Might be worth noting most smartphones support virtual level apps using their accelerometer, but the "analog" version is fairly inexpensive and not prone to miscalibration, relying on simple physics to function. ... show more
