I dont use it very often at all but yesterday it came in handy putting a scratch coat between steps on a staircase. As far as durability its pretty rugged and fits your hand just like any other plaster trawl.

As a DIYer, I had never used a trowel before on drywall. I can achieve a beautiful finish with this plastering trowel. Very similar to finishing concrete. The trowel is very well made and has a 'firm' edge, stiff but flexible. For me, it is a great value and a great asset.
