I was not impressed with this necklace for the price. It's not expensive, so my expectations were low, but the description and pictures tell a different story than what I received. The actual necklace is thin and slim. The finish is not bad, but the color is a little too shiny and sleek. Like a high gloss rather than a simple gloss, if that makes sense. Returning to this listing, I also question whether they've retrofitted options to align with the products sent out. I ended up with a 19.8" option and I know that's not what I was looking for. i can't swear that the size wasn't my mistake, but either way, what I received looks that much daintier for being short. It does feel well enough made that I wouldn't worry about it breaking while you wear it. If a thin, shiny black necklace is your thing, this is probably a decently durable option with a finish that should last. This is a stainless steel chain with a black (also have seen it called gunmetal) coating. The chain is 6mm thick, which makes it good thickness to wear with a pendant, but it also looks nice on its own. I ordered the 20” length, which falls just below the neckline. This is a good length for the chain to fall just above a collar line with a button down shirt. The black coating adds a masculine look to the chain. Cuban links are a good style for a man. I really favor the stainless steel chains. I have trouble with my skin tarnishing or discoloring other metals, even sterling silver. My skin will turn even 925 sterling silver a black color. It's a weird reaction that has happened as I have aged. It didn’t used to happen when I was younger. I do not have the discoloration problem with stainless steel. This is a sturdy, solid chain that looks fantastic. The price point is amazing, especially considering how nice the chain looks! ... show more

It's a beefy necklace though not hip-hop ridiculous. The price is similar to other over seas shipping sites for similar products. The quality of construction is pretty good with no noticeable defects/scratches or full spots in the polishing between links. My only concern is that it seems a little light weight for stainless steel so I don't know if it's actually chrome plated lighter metal or if it's truly solid stainless. Also no confidence inspiring are the instructions that seem like they would be for plated jewelry (see photo) that wants you to not shower with it or get cologne on it, but I plan on wearing it 24/7 for at least a few weeks to see what happens. I recently got scammed on a supposed "solid pure 925 silver necklace" from a Chinese site (I did get my money back) and it really put sand in my underwear so if there is any funny business with this tarnishing I'll definitely update here and complain profusely. Otherwise, so far so good after almost a week of constant wear. PS: the thick stretch wrap protector on it was incredibly hard to remove without causing a temper tantrum. I asked my 17 year old son to review this chain as upon receipt I realized that this chain is too thick and chunky to be for women and had a much more masculine aesthetic, this is my sons review of this product: The chain is very light weight and seemingly pretty durable. I wore it for the past two days non stop to see if it would rust or snap like some other cheap chains you find out there, but that never became the case. My only concern is the clip/clasp on the back can be annoying to attach and at times requires another set of hands to help put it on. Overall this chain is a good buy and I would recommend it to anyone looking to add a bit of new bling to their attire. ... show more
