I love the stainless steel drinking straws I ordered. There is a tiny brush that comes with them so you can just whisk them clean when they are in the wash. The feel of drinking through metal is so much better than plastic. It's a good buy

The straws are metal, solid and clean, but it is too early to determine if they are made of stainless steel. The sides and edges are smooth so there is no chance of getting cut or of getting abrasions from using them. The manufacturer provides a brush to clean them and it works rather well. These are good straws and work in a smaller glass but not in a 30 oz. tumbler. If they were 2 inches longer from the tip to the bend then they would sit correctly in a large tumbler, but as it is, they fall into the cup which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend that the manufacturer should give a size, length or recommended size glass for the straws so the consumer can make an informed decision, or better yet provide different sizes for different size containers.

I purchased these stainless steel straws for some 30 oz. Ozark Trail tumblers I bought and they fit perfectly through the lid opening. The straws are permanently curved and are not adjustable, but they fit well and are the perfect length. I like that my cold drinks are even colder coming through the straw. I have not put them in the dishwasher yet and hand washed them instead, but will probably try one of them in the dishwasher soon. The quality is very good and I have no complaints. It came with 4 straws and a cleaning brush, that I have not used yet either, but I can see where it would come in handy to clean the curve of the straw. The price I paid seemed very reasonable as I could not find them locally in any of my stores. I like the fact that I am not throwing plastic disposable straws in the landfill and these will last for probably decades.

As stated in the description, this is the perfect length straw for larger cups like the Yeti, Ozark Trail and other 30 oz drinking containers. The approximately 45 degree tip bend angle minimizes spills, as you don't need to tilt your cup to use the straw. About 10 inches long overall, there is plenty of height above the cup lid opening (about an inch for my Ozark Trail cup) for turning the straw in whatever direction you are drinking from. No stainless steel taste, although a plastic coated tip would be nice to prevent the metal straw from hitting your tooth if you weren't paying attention. The metal straw can be a bit noisy in a metal cup though. The cleaning brush provided works very well and using these food grade 18/8 stainless steel straws reduces on landfill trash as these will last a lifetime. Diameter is approximately 5 mm (0.2 inches) which is smaller than a standard plastic straw. This makes drinking a thick or "Icee-style" drink somewhat challenging, but minimizes burning your mouth if drinking a hot beverage. You get four angled dishwasher safe stainless steel straws and one cleaning brush on a plain blister pack card. Shipped quickly - I had mine in 3 days!
