lightweight, beautifully finished, non-slip grip on reverse side.

I use with Olfa art knife for intricate hand cutting of magazine papers. It has a non-slip backing strip that keeps the paper from sliding around the cutting mat I use with it. Its very light weight only requires a small amount of pressure to keep it in place while cutting along the smooth bevel edge, can also be used for inking without ink seeping under ruler. I am very pleased with this ruler overall, and have purchased other fine products from Staedtler over the years and they last a lifetime. ... show more
