I really like the color and burlap-esque watch cushions. It pops on my darker nightstand. My only complaint is that the cushions are a tad small for their compartments. There are gaps at the top and bottom; and there’s no way bands are THAT thick.

First off let me say I do not have an expensive watch collection, so value for the money is extremely high on my list when it comes to watches and accessories. I collect Seiko automatics, so that alone should clear up any notions that I’m some sort of high end watch collector. With that said, I did find myself needing a watch display case after expanding my collection 3 fold in the past few months. Looking around at the other cases I just felt like I was looking at the same ones with different brand names. They all look the same, like they’re trying too hard to look high end with shiny finishes and velvet pillows. That led me to this very rustic looking watch display case. The good parts of it far outweigh the bad. The a Good * It’s beautiful looking * The wood is decently well crafted * There's plenty of room to fit my wide diver watches * It doesn’t look like every other watch box out there The Bad * The initial smell was very plastic factory smelling * The canvas like material on the pillows is glued on and stiff, so too much squeezing or manhandling might result in the seams coming apart Overall I’m extremely happy with it, especially considering how reasonably priced it is. If you’re not hung up on trying to look like a million bucks and want something a little more handcrafted looking, this is the one for you. Now I just need one more watch to balance it out. Great watch box if you’re looking for a rustic/farmhouse style. Good quality box and latch. The burlap was my favorite part about it! Plenty of room to fit watches and bands of various sizes. My boyfriend loved it as well.

I like this watch box. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Hold and display watches. I didn't want something that cost many multiples of the price just to house my watches. Some reviews have mentioned the rough burlap that could potentially scratch the underside of a watch. If you buckle the watch onto the pillow like one would to their wrist, you help alleviate that possibility. I gave it four stars because it is obviously built to a price point. It doesn't look like a master craftsman spent weeks on this. The burlap pillows could have been made with better care. The dividers aren't built super sturdy. Not everything is aligned perfectly. I purchased this little box NOT to display my watches, though I may buy another one for them, but to store my IEM's. As a long time headphone guy I recently decided to explore IEM's to see what they are all about and how good they really sound. I don't own a ton of them, just 5 pairs at this time and nothing beyond the $100 range. I wanted something that looked nice as opposed to something made of plastic and I'm very happy with my purchase. I would tend to agree with those folks who are concerned with how course the included watch pillows are and I'd personally explore other options for the pillows. I know for certain I no longer have those that came along with my four or five watches. I wouldn't want to scratch the finish on them. Keep in mind this little box isn't super high end furniture grade construction as the price should indicate, but it is nice enough to display whatever it is you choose to display. ... show more

My husband was looking for a place to store his watches and we were finding some really expensive options but then we stumbled on this one. I wasn’t expecting much for the price to be honest. However, this box is really nice and is a great way to store and display watches. It is well made and sturdy with a nice glass panel and soft, burlap like material pillows inside. Update: the roughness of the pillows scratches the back of my polished watch cases.. scratches that I can’t get out. So I change this from 3 stars to 2 stars. I mostly collect vintage Omega watches and a few newer model watches as well, I’m worried the fabric will be too “dusty” and the small fibers will get into the dial so I’m weary of this box. For the price, it’s decent. I wanted it because of the distressed look to match the house decor but I’ll probably end up junking this in another month when I get a new one or keep it to put my gold jewelry in. ... show more
