Took the boat out for first trip today with my son (adult), he's 6-3, Im 6-5 and yes there's enough room for two,, it was very stable in the water, if you considering buying this from Amazon look locally first.. It took 3 weeks to get to my house from order date.. as for power to push it, I purchased a 40lb thrust Minkota trolling motor, I am primarily going to use this boat in the Susquehanna River, don't buy a trolling motor for a river, it does not have enough thrust for the job, upstream against current.. no good.. I ordered a 2.5hp Mercury outboard (gas), that will shove this boat fine. Back to boat.. Im pleased with it, well made, should last a very long time, was easy to load up, fit in my GMC Sierra long bed nicely, only need to tie it in as it's 8.5 ft, gate needs to be down. fits nicely, easy to unload, one person could do it, two preferred. Bottom line is, no trailer needed, that's huge...can go anywhere, river, lake, pond. Love the boat, Amazon get's a 1 on delivery... ... show more

I bought this boat from Amazon.com. I ordered it on August 1st and received it via Freight carrier two days later. Boat came from Tennesse to Nebraska. I was very happy with the service. The Freight Company driver was very helpful. This boat is amazing. I have a Minn-Kota 50lb thrust and a Suzuki 2.5 4 stroke outboard motor. Both work great with this boat. It is very stable. I love that I can get into close quarters. I can get to where other bass fishermen cannot. I have the trolling motor for moving around, if the wind comes up or I need to get back to shore quickly, I crank up the 2.5 horse Suzuki 4 stroke. You cannot go wrong with this neat boat. I love fishing alone, or with my 8 year old grandson. If I am alone, I can use my feet to slide my one chair back to the gas motor, or up front to the Minn-Kota trolling motor. I have balanced out the weight of the boat and it is awesome. Plenty of room, and easy to put in the back of my 2010 Dodge Big Horn 4 door, or I have a utility trailer, I can put it on. I can unload this myself. Put on the trolling motor and the Suzuki 2.5hp gas motor in a snap. Throw in the tackle box, my two poles. I am gone fishing. I can be in the water and out of the water very quickly. I use this on ponds, and small lakes. I give this five stars. I have had aluminum boats of various sizes, and this boat is the bomb. I ordered the boat on 08 April, 2012 and received it about 16 days later. To my surprise it was delivered in a Sprinter Van and both the boat and the pallet were up on their sides instead of laying flat. Never-the-less, it was still in impeccable condition (Other than a minor, superficial scratch in the hull. No big deal even for one who suffers from O.C.D. like I do). I've had it on a lake (Puddingstone Resivoir) once. Here's is what you need to know: If you go fishing like I did, invest in an anchor. The breeze blew me around and I was going back and forth to the trolling motor to stay away from some hazards. A 30 lb. thrust trolling motor may seem inadequate. It was comfortable enough for me (a 5'8" 145 lb. guy) with two rods and my tackle but it would be very questionable sharing an 8'6" space with another fisherman. Hmmmmm? I haven't taken it out a 2nd time yet because it's not registered. According to CA law, any motorized boat must be registered even if you take it on one of those privately owned lakes. I'm not going to paddle around with one oar. I just got a response from the DMV 6 weeks after sending in my application for registration which I downloaded from dmv.ca.gov. and just mailed out the $29 registration fee yesterday. So I guess I'll have it back on a lake in 6 more weeks? Overall I think it was a great purchase from Amazon and the boat is surprisingly stable on the water. The High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)seems durable enough. It's light enough for 2 people to carry easily but I have a 4'x 8' utility trailer which I just back into the water and it floats right off.
