So beautiful, material is light and so easy to wear, just what she was looking for in a costume. The mask is light and perfect and antenna headband is great too. Only complaint is the band that goes around the neck should be a clip to the neck of the shirt or dress, but I adapted it myself.

I like the simplicity of this costume; throw in a black tank and tights and you are done! I love butterflies and their metamorphoses, so this is perfect! The colors are bright and the look is pretty. The only drawback is that no one will know what you are dressed like, if your arms aren’t up. And obviously, you can’t keep them up constantly. LOL So a bit of functionality issues here. For this reason, I deducted a star from the rating. Comfortable for warm weather or can be used in cold weather with long sleeves and johns. A different and unique costume! These butterfly wings are so bright and beautiful! They're a solid adult size, almost too big for my 5'3" frame. I love that they have elastic to attach to my hands, and the little antennae are a nice touch for costume purposes. The wings are fun to wear, and I'm already thinking I'll use them again at the Pride parade next year.

I'm not sure why I thought the fabric would be somewhat sheer, but it isn't. The sparkles are printed right on there. The antennae headband is uncomfortable and looks cheap, but as an overall kit its not bad. I wouldn't use this as a whole costume, but I would supplement it a little with your own stuff, and then its workable. The pieces look cheap as they are, they definitely need some sprucing up.

The pattern is not nearly as vivid on the inside of the wings (from the front). The wings attach only at the neck and with a loop over a finger. There is nothing that holds the wings out except for your arms. With your arms at your side, it is merely an odd cape hanging from your neck. I guess that if it had a structure to hold the wings out it would be hard to maneuver at a party, but that should be an option, nonetheless. Depending on what you are wearing it for, you might get tired holding your arms out all night. Viewed from the back, with your arms out, it really is a pretty costume.

I got the blue one, and the design is prominent on the back and faded from the front, as pictured. I don’t know if I’ll wear the mask with it but it is cute and feels like it would stay on well! The headband is kinda of crooked (see picture). I think it’ll be okay since the antenna are flexible, and I can adjust them to however it’ll sit on my head.
