  • Good, for the right price.
Overall, a good product. My 2 girls (age 4 and 1) love it and play with it often and for prolonged periods of time. However, there are a few design flaws. When screwing in the two smaller screws into the tan "pool", it made a dent in the plastic, which changed the color in two spots. Not a big deal. On the same small attachment piece (tan pool), there's a hole on the bottom, why? Who knows. However, water gets in there and is IMPOSSIBLE to get out unless you unscrew the palm tree and shove a towel inside to dry it out (I did this three times before leaving the piece off altogether). I plan to close off this unexplained hole at some point, just haven't gotten around to it. Then, somewhere along the way, water started getting INSIDE the table (as in, trapped water, not able to escape). I realize these things aren't made to float the Bering Strait, but with as much money as I forked over, it should at least be water tight. There IS a "drain hole" on the bottom, but water isn't able to drain out of it. My overall argument here is that I worry about mold growing inside the table, right? Moisture + food source = mold growth. With my littles playing with this on a near daily basis, I decided to take a spade bit and drill a hole on the bottom outside edge, so we can prop the table at an angle and drain the water after every play. Table is well made, but there are certainly some flaws that could be smoothed out. ... show more

  • Cute & Lots of fun
My daughter loves it. Should of came with better directions because some of the parts dont even screw down or if they do, the directions dont say to screw them down. But overall it's cute and my daughter has fun playing with the little people it came with and she added to them by using her "little people" guys that we buy from walmart. I'd recommend this product. ... show more

  • Cute but fades fast in the sun
It's easy to assemble for 1 person. After 1 week in the sun the plastic has faded and is becoming brittle. It's not as good as other brands like Little Tyke.

  • Splash splash
We bought this for our 8month old who can stand by holding onto the sides. He loves it, and splashes for a while. Easy to put together and drain the water out. currently have it in our sunroom with no water and he still enjoys playing with it (we just put a bunch of his toys in it) The toys that attach are a little weak as they donโ€™t snap on the sides they are just placed. Over all love the design and canโ€™t wait to use it again this coming summer. ... show more

  • Love!
Total birthday win! It was kind of annoying to put together because you aren't given be drilled holes for the screws. I don't know if that was a mistake or intentional. My kids love it at 6 and 4. We've had one previously and they loved it when they were young, too. Really great for days when it's warm but not get the pool out hot. ... show more

  • My kids like it
Well, what a pain to put the legs on! I should have waited for my husband to get home to help but I wanted the kids to use it because it was surprisingly hot today... the side screws were tough to get it, there is no pre-dilled holes for this! A bit ridiculous!... all in all, it's worth what I paid for it on sale. My 3 1/2 year old twins really enjoyed it today. Lots of pretend play, Well constructed, anddd has a spot to put an umbrella! Was so happy for that surprise! ... show more

  • Hours of summer fun!
We got this for my 2 year old, and she LOVES IT. She will play with it for hours, which is a big deal for a toddler. Some of the reviews I read said that it leaked, but ours has not leaked at all. There is a cave type thing that goes under the island below the water (I don't know what it's for, it's small and odd), and my nephew got his arm stuck in there once, but my husband took the island off to set him free and it was fine. ... show more

  • Defective product will mold, Step 2 customer service did not help
This was a gift for my 11 month old son, at my request, and while my son loves it, I do not. My main issue is that I believe there is currently a manufacturing error/defect with this product (the only other review I found with this issue was a recent purchase). On the bottom of the beige island piece there is a coarsely cut hole about the size of a quarter, which is closed in the picture in the instructions. Water gets in this hole when there is water in the table and the water does not drain from the island. I disassembled the island and still couldn't get the water out. This means that this will inevitably mold and then mold will get into the water that my son is playing with. What disappoints me the most is the response I got from Step 2 when I called customer service. While on the phone they kept telling me how to clean it to prevent mold. This is NOT a long term solution! I will not disassemble it and clean it every time when there is clearly a defect in the product. Thinking that they were not understanding the problem I emailed them a picture. After waiting three days, they told me to unscrew the other screws to let the table dry out and then keep them out so that more water can drain out. Again, not a long term solution as these other holes are the size of screws and will not solve the problem. I am beyond disappointed that Step 2 does not stand by their defective product and will not send a replacement piece at my request. For this reason alone, I would not recommend the water table. I have owned it for one week. I agree with other reviewers that the toys are mostly useless in that they don't stay where they are supposed to. Some of these can be glued on without losing function, but many cannot. This table was more expensive than others, probably due to its size and the toys. But considering everything I am expecting to deal with regarding this water table, a smaller, simple table would have been better and just as loved by my son. ... show more
