I used the Pink Fetish for several years and loved it. My bleached hair (normally medium brown) was a vivid highlighter hot pink that did not fade. I had 4 inches of dark roofs and the pink was still as bright as when I applied it months before. Even bleach couldn't get rid of it completely, so if you want something temporary then maybe this is not what you need. Pic with blonde roots is after bleaching my whole head to do my roots (because I'm too lazy to just bleach my roots sometimes) you can see how the bleach hardly made a dent in the color. Second pic is freshy fresh day after application color. Pic with dark roots is after a couple of months, shampooing every three days or so with gentle color safe shampoo and conditioner, fading is pretty minimal. The last pic is after a very hardcore bleaching, it got most of it but I still had pastel pink highlights. It will continue to run in the shower for weeks, though I didn't notice any staining on my bedding, but all of my sheets and pillowcases are hot pink to start with. Anyway, this stuff makes your hair bright pink, but it has to have a pretty light base, so lots of bleaching. I don't mind dark roots, so I was able to go 4-6 months between touch ups. It has a pleasing scent, and is super easy to use (the bleaching is a pain, but the actual coloring requires no mixing, just pour it on and wait. It will stain your scalp, fingers, ears, and hairline if you aren't careful. I found that my neutrogena exfoliating face wipes took it off fairly easily.

I purchased two kits, the Lusty Lavender and the Blue Envy, intending to dye blue and purple streaks into my hair. I probably should have known that I couldn't get streaks without foils, but that's my own failing. Other than that, though, the kits worked much better than I was expecting. My hair is naturally a fairly light ash blonde, and it was highlighted a long time ago and never grew out, so I really only bleached it so the color would take well. I was surprised at the results of the bleach -- it pulled my hair to a lovely golden blonde that I might go back to after my color's faded out. It was strong, and the fumes didn't feel great on my eyes, but overall, that part of the kit wasn't lacking in the slightest. The next day, I attempted to put in the purple and blue streaks. However, I didn't use enough dye, and I didn't leave them in for long enough, so they weren't dark enough for my liking. In addition, since I was doing it in stages, and I'd done two applications of bleach, I didn't have any gloves left to do the dyeing. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. My hands were stained black, and the only things that made a significant dent in the color were nail polish remover and Veet hair remover. Wait until you have gloves. It was a horrendous mistake. The color after the first application was more pink and cornflower blue, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for, so I went back and thoroughly dyed all of my hair but an inch or two at the top. I let it sit for about two hours, and then went to rinse it out -- a process which took nothing short of eternity. Two days after, I'm still rinsing out purple, but I expected that. Once I finished the second application, I wound up with a very rich, dark, even, and dimensional color that's a mix of purple, blue, and indigo, lighter in some places, darker in others, which I think looks much more 'natural'. Great kit, although I do think they should include two pairs of gloves for people who dye their hair over two days.

Some people dont want a color to just..stay, but for me, I've never been able to find a brand that does, they usually wash out in a week or two no matter what I do. It's been weeks now and my hair is still just as vibrant and pink as when I first applied it. Before this I bleached my hair with L'Oréal bleach and toner from what used to be very black hair. And since my hair was black, the bleach didnt exactly turn me the platinum blonde I wanted, but instead a light ginger/brown. I didnt bleach it again, instead, a couple weeks later I quit waiting and decided to apply the pink fetish splat dye, and the pictures below is what I got from dying ginger/brownish hair. I got a little of the dye on my sink and skin, but using rubbing alchohol got it up immediantly, as for my shower, it didnt even stain it. A tiny bit of pink still comes out of my hair after weeks (only in the shower), but never stained anything, which was surprising. If you want a good hair dye that's gonna last and stick with you like I do, I 100% recommend splat as it's probably my favorite brand right now. And I've tried ALOT, especially manic panic and arctic fox, which I 100% DONT reccomend unless you want your color to wash out in a week.

Splat is the only product I would trust. Period. The pink is so bright and so hot pink that it has almost a blue tinge to it. I haven't dyed my hair in almost 2 months and my hair is still super bright! When dying your hair with this product, don't worry about rinsing until the water is clear. Splat does bleed a LOT when you shower. Usually you can tell when your hair needs dyed again because the water will run completely clear when you shower and wash your hair. The colour will last longer if you rinse your hair in lukewarm or cold water and if you keep your shower water warm or lukewarm, but not hot. My hair grows super slow, but my roots will start showing before my water runs clear in the shower. I wash my hair once every 3 or 4 days to keep it pink for longer. I put my hair up in a bun to shower and make sure my hair doesn't get wet when I just wash my body x3. The pink is so much more of a hot hot pink and it's way brighter than in the picture on the box and that's true for all of the Splat colours. The colour is usually way more vivid than on the box. Blue envy is more of a cookie monster blue. I wouldn't get Manic Panic over Splat any day! Manic Panic is so dull.

I've tried a couple of Splat colors now and have loved them. Some reviews mention quick color fading. I have not experienced that at all. The first time I colored was with lusty lavender back in September it did fade a little and then stayed a purple-pink until I just recolored it with pink fetish this week (February). So five months later I still had color both on my natural color (gray and dark ash brown) and sections I bleached. I did follow other reviews advice to leave the color on for 2-3 hours. It does dye your skin something terrible. I've found facial toner helps remove it bug it does take a few days. Also, using Vaseline to protect skin around face, neck, and in the part helped a lot this time around. I was worried the Vaseline would prevent the hair from dying but it didn't seem to effect it. Also, it gives GREAT grey coverage. I'm actually looking forward to going grey so I don't need to bleach my hair to get these great colors!!!
