This was used for a 1 year old in a 70 degree pool on a 70 degree cloudy day. It worked well enough. The toddler didn't have a chill anymore and was able to play comfortably for a little while longer. I wouldn't recommend for anything else other than maybe a splash pad. The suit is tight and doesn't keep water out since the sleeve and ankle cuffs dont cling to the baby. ... show more

I LOVE this! My 5 month old loves the pool but the water is so cold it would make him cry and tremble when he had a refinar onesie bathing suit so I couldn’t take him in the pool. Then I found this, which is lined with fleece, and he stays very warm. He doesn’t even flench when we go in the water and is able to stay in for hours! This is Warm, but too heavy for baby to float. Bought it for survival swim maintenance classes after a very successful summer survival course(9M). With this my little one(now 15M) could barely keep her head up. It’s great as far as keeping warmer longer. It’s just too heavy when soaked in the event of an accidental fall into a body of water.
