This game is based on the hit Netflix reality television series. There is a set of question cards, with 3 answers supplied for each question. Each person’s answers are exposed under a pseudonym. The basic idea is, after 6 rounds of Q&A, to see how often your answers match up with another person's without knowing who that person is, recorded in a Journal. After reviewing the answers, you select the pseudonym person to propose to. If that person also selected your pseudonym, then you are engaged! And if there isn’t a match, the proposed-to person then selects their person to propose to. The process continues until everyone has become engaged or “tragically” spurned. The game comes with 125 double-sided Question cards, 6 journal cards [to track answers that match yours], and 6 pod cards [to anonymously share your answers with the others]. The laminated cards are easily marked up with 6 supplied dry erase markers, which are easy to clean up post-game. The instructions are clear. This is a game for adults, not children. The questions are fun and engaging. Ex. 1: The best type of kiss is: A) Slow and passionate, B) Lustful and intense, C) Short and sweet. Ex. 2: Your partner hates your favorite shirt. What’s the move? A) Keep it, Love me, love my shirt. B) Wear it when they’re not around. C) Burn the shirt. Although the game can be played with 2-6 people, it works best with 6. It also needs to be played lightheartedly. You need to be comfortable with the possibility of proposing to someone NOT your date, or vice versa. If the idea of you or your spouse “proposing” to someone else disturbs you, this is not the game to play. Even if you end up matching with a friend, its fun to see how much/little you have in common — at least in terms of the question responses. The game is not expensive like many popular games, seems like a lot of fun, and both my friends and girlfriend get a kick out of the questions and want to play. ... show more

Played the original version of this game and enjoyed it bought this one and did not enjoy it as much the idea of the game is the same but the game play was much different and confusing and just wasn’t as enjoyable. I would say this game is not for kids, but also not an adult game either I’d say if you haven’t played the original game this game might be fun for you but if you have played the original game this is to different ... show more

It's a fun game but definitely recommend more people and more for a friend group or slumber party (ala speed date or party phone) kinda game vibes here. Like I would have loved this as a pre-teen or teen with a group of friends or better yet, a crush or two. We played it as a family and since there was only 3 of us we each created a second "persona" character to play as well for more fun. It did get a little confusing our way but it was fun! We have the bro character and the party girl and the weird girl etc, and it was fun to see how they matched up at the end of the game. It's not a hard game to pick up for new players and great way to start the night. Some of the cards are definitely raunchy, so these can either be a really good ice breaker for a blind speed date night for the more liberal minded groups or a fun activity among friends.
