I have been a Sperry fan for years. When I ran across these I was nervous about how shiny the gold metallic would be. When I received the shoes and tried them on, I fell in love. The shiny part is what makes them unique. Its not too shiny and gives the shoe some extra flare. I love the look and fit of these shoes. The sizing is accurate. The shade of green is exactly what I was looking for. I have a selection of green shirts that can be paired with them. I haven't worn them yet. But I have other Sperry saltwater rain boots just like them and I love how well they hold up. I am looking forward to wearing them in the fall. These were so cute that I ordered the silver ones also and I love them equally as well. You can never go wrong with a Sperry!!!

Tried these on and they are very comfortable and true to size. I’m returning them because I didn’t realise how metallic the upper material would be! The gold is very shiny. I had another pair of duck boots for more than 20 years, but they started cracking, so I replaced them with these. These are a nice design and they fit perfectly! They are a bit thinner material than the last pair I had, so hopefully they will last as long. One negative is I was out walking the dog and stopped in a local restaurant nearby wearing these boots. I nearly fell on their tile floor; it was so slippery! Walking on pavement and around the neighborhood is fine, but I'm tempted to put some better grips on the bottom of these. We haven't had any snow or ice, so I can't attest to how the grip is on those areas. They are definitely waterproof and the zipper makes it easy to put these on!
