These shoes look and feel good. Not as comfortable as running shoes but they are a comfortable enough substitute that have the added benefit of being a bit more professional looking. This is my second pair of the Top Sider. I spend all day on my feet and I work in a pretty volatile environment which degraded the bottom of the shoes faster than normal (stepping in Lacquer Thinner regularly will eat away and the soles). The first time I think I may have left a less than stellar review because I was expecting them to come with the leather laces but they didn’t. I bought the shoes to match a shirt, its not exact but close enough. Shoes seem to be ok, concerned with the leather laces and their longevity. The canvas material their made of seem durable thus far.

Added two pair of the “washable” Striper II’s to the collection (navy & grey) and they are the best of the bunch. Although have not utilized their “machine” wash-ability, they clean up with a wet towel just fine! The leather-like material is soft, and comfortable, cleans easily, but is not waterproof. For that, one would need to see the “Storm” variant of these shoes, which also offers a high-top version. Love these shoes! There are so many choices in the Striper II line alone, it’s hard to select a favorite. Which is probably why i have 15 pair. ... show more
