I have been using these to package up everything in my house for a deep cleaning project and have been very happy with them. I have to protect literally everything in plastic and so I have put clothes, toys, books, craft supplies, papers... anything that will fit in them, and have only lost one or two to breakage (which was my fault because I dropped several heavy books in at once from a height of almost a foot, so no surprise the seam ripped). They are a little thinner than a standard freezer bag, but they are not really meant to be "heavy duty" and they are sturdy enough for most medium to heavyish uses. The closure can be a little fiddly (I have no problem and find them quite easy with a strong seal, but my 4 year old can't close them himself and my elderly father with limited use in one hand struggles a little to separate the tabs to open them sometimes) but realistically they are good quality and for the price they are amazing. I bought several different products to test out (different types and brands of oversized storage bags, freezer bags, zipper totes, and plastic bins) and these have been my favorite of all, ordering a second round within a few days in lieu of any of the other storage solutions I had tried and will totally order a third if I need them. If you need a lot of bags, this is a good way to go. Especially if you are on a budget.

The bags are perfect for 5.5x8.5" papers. If you have a business and are looking for "rock bags," these are what you want. These bags are excellent quality and are clear transparency. The zipper feature is easy to use and seals very tightly. This allows the product that is inside to remain protected. The thickness of the plastic is not too thin, but is a nice weight so that they are not bulky when thrown out. We will be ordering these over and over again.

Update: i’m in the process of moving, and these bags have been so incredibly helpful when it comes to sorting/organizing and packing. Really glad i bought these. Original review: For the price, this is a great deal for 2gallon sized bags , but the packaging is not good and makes me question whether or not the item is brand new, or previously returned merch. Pros: -great price for a large quantity -thicker than most lunch bags, and approximately the same thickness as most gallon size bags (not quite as thick as good freezer bags , but these are not freezer bags. I bought the regular bags). -seal works well -comes with 200 bags (the amount that was advertised when i made the purchase. Yes, i counted them). - the size is accurate while the bag is empty. 13”x16”. Cons: - does not come in a fully sealed package. It comes inside of the same type of bag that you are buying, which opens easily when it is overstuffed and not properly sealed. which means you don’t know if it was tampered with or previously in somebody else's home. Even some packing tape to close it would have been better than the way it came. The bag was completely open, exposing the contents inside to whatever else was in the Amazon box and possible the warehouse (and with a pandemic going on, it leaves me very uneasy). I don’t know if the bag opened while in transit, or if it was already open in the warehouse because there is no way to tell how many times it’s been opened. There is no adhesive residue or tape keeping it closed. There were black specs/particles and other unidentifiable pieces of matter in between the bags, inside of the package. i would normally assume it came from the packaging itself, but since there was no packaging because they came inside of a bag, not a box (other than the Amazon box), so some those particles could have been there since before it was shipped to me. There was also a hole in the package, and i don’t know if it was caused during transit or if it had the hole while sitting in the warehouse. Which Makes me apprehensive about using this for food, but i think it will be ok ? *for the record, the particles were not inside of the individual bags * They were in between the bags. - the seal is thin/small , and it does work well, but you cannot over stuff it or it will open. i would not put liquids or saturated items inside without fear of leaking. -i would not marinate meat in it without putting a bowl or tray underneath the bag in case it leaks. I bought these bags to use for a variety of things including storing craft supplies, clothing, papers, and other smaller items to keep dust and any seasonal pests out while items are in the attic and basement, along with storing food in them. All in all it’s worth the price, but i had to take off a star because the packaging is lacking and causes some anxiety if you’re trying to be hyper-vigilant about cleanliness.
