usually these wristbands are pretty tight so there's no water that's able to leak down your arm. These ones are pretty loose, but they still catch most of the drips. The headband, on the other hand, is really awkward. One side of it digs into your head behind your ear on that one side only. I usually stick a washcloth/tissue behind that ear so it doesn't hurt as bad. For the price, it's as can be expected, really. And I have probably an average or below-average sized head, so on someone with a larger head, it would probably dig into your head more
