This is a very sturdy and attractive option for your build, and much cleaner than the included Nvidia octopus mess of cables. I docked it one start because for some reason the first cable I received just randomly stopped working after being plugged in and out 3 times. I had to drain my loop/reseat the CPU a few times during the build to get a perfect seat on the CPU water block, and the third time I drained it and plugged it all back in and fired it up there was no VGA signal and the motherboard error light was on when plugged into my 4090, but everything was working with the internal iGPU... After a ton of diagnostics measures and exhausting nearly all other potential fixes, I went back to the standard Corsair power supply cable and Nvidia octopus cable and viola, back up and running.... Amazon quickly sent me a replacement and I haven't had a problem since pulling over 500w on my water-cooled 4090. Hopefully this one lasts!

Got it as a replacement for the cablemod 12vhpwr cable that came in my kit. If you get black screens and fans going to 100% its your cable. Lucky this second cable is solid and no issues now. New one is on the right so there is a difference in connector and pins.

Originally bought the corsair cable for my 4080 but it only had 2 8 pin connectors so it made me concerned. I already had the 90 degree adapter and decided to get this cable to ensure enough power is sent to card. Cablemod has never disappointed

Edit: Please be extremely careful with the sense pins. They are easily pulled out as they are not firmly in place. So if you are getting black screens and whatnot. Check your sense pins. The card is protecting itself when it doesn't see them. Just looking at the cable in the package left me cringing; Despite being premium cable, it has a lot of joints in it. You don't see this in Corsair's adapter, but they are trying to pipe 600 watts through two 8-pin connects, creating planned obsolescence for those power supplies. Just wait until all those Corsair PSUs fail, and everyone goes to the Warranty department mentioning the Corsair adapter, and they'll go, 'Haha, no. Have a nice day.' Yes, you can take 200 watts for three connectors each, though it is not normally advised as it makes the specification reach its maximum, impacting lifespan. Either way, I'm not impressed with the adapters I've seen with Corsair, Cablemod, and various brands. Plugging this cable in triggered a voltage sensor anomaly on my GPU after switching it on, so please be careful. Side note: Do you know those LEDS above the power port for your GPU? Yeah, those will light up when something is wrong with the power it's being given. Either way, Cablemod. You have the right idea with the three cables to one for clutter efficiency. But you might wanna figure out a method to reduce the cord's resistance so you don't trip sensors or cause melting like you've been struggling with.

So I recently upgraded to a 4080 and I wanted a cleaner cable running from it compared to the nVidia adapter that it comes with. After looking around and no one having anything that would ship sooner, I choose this cable. As others have said, it is a very stiff cable however, I was able to work it down and get it to fit inside my case (Lian-Li LANCOOL 216). I also verified that after working the cable, it is securely connected to the card as well. I however down the road will be ordering Cablemod's new 90-degree adapter soon.

Very well made 16pin GPU Cable but it's way to stiff. It will not make the bend in my Corsair 4000D or Lian Li 011D Mini to allow me to install the glass panel. Do not buy this ModMesh one and get the ModFlex. Unless of course you want a really stiff cable. I do not recommend this ModMesh cable.

UPDATE: After a few weeks I started having random black screens, after checking the cable was seated properly and testing with the native NVidia cable (which doesn't have the issue) I've reached out to cablemod support to see if maybe the cable is faulty. Will update review again if/when support contacts me back with a fix. Original: My PSU only came with two pcie power cables and I would've needed to daisy-chain them to get my (4080) GPU to work (not recommended). This cable goes from GPU straight into PSU and is much more manageable than the stock psu (thick) cables. After a couple weeks it's still running great with no issues and looks great in the case.
