I attend a week long conference every year. Lots and lots of walking. I have been on a search for 8 years to find a comfortable shoe. I have to have slight heel, due to plantar fasciitis. I’ve finally found the best and most comfortable shoe!!! These are great! And stylish to boot! 😉

    • Sorels RUN LARGE!
I’d never owned Sorel shoes before (and don’t have any of their retailers near me). I wear a w’s 10 in Chaco sandals and boots and would expect another functional/fashion outdoor brand to fit similarly. So, I ordered the 10 and they were HUGE. Then ordered the 9.5 and they were still loose. Finally got the 9 and they fit as expected. If you know your size in EUR, that may be a better size reference to use, as the 40 (Sorel’s 9) fits correctly. I was swayed by all the other reviews that said these run small. Just fyi! 4 stars for comfort (minus one b/c of where they hit on the ankle… it’s not comfortable for me if i was wearing low socks… but I got these for the winter & rain, so that won’t be an issue for me. 4 stars for style, because they are really cute… but I definitely worried about everyone who said they scuff easily, so I plan to use a leather conditioner/sealer on them before wearing. 4 stars for value. The 10’s and 9’s I purchased were ~$139. The 9.5’s were only $95 (but OF COURSE those didn’t fit. 🤦🏼♀️). LOVE these for under $100. Was less excited at the $139 price, but splurging to have one pair of stylish, comfortable, waterproof shoes to wear for a month-long trip to Italy. Of they hold up, I’ll definitely revise my review and increase the rating. 🤞🏽 ... show more

I love these boots, but unfortunately they were too narrow for my feet. I’ve tried to stretch them out a little but they’re just not going to work for me! If you have issues with your feet or they are narrow, you may want to look for a different kind of bootie

These boots are cute and comfortable. I would give them five stars; however, I have high arches, and they are hard to put on/take off. I usually only buy boots with zippers, but for my needs decided to try them, and I hope they loosen after wearing more.

I purchased these for a trip to San Francisco when I saw that the forecast called for rain almost every day. This was the best decision ever. It rained like cats and dogs every day all day. In fact one of the days it had the worst storm they've ever had. Regardless of the rain we did all the things we had planned to do which meant a lot of walking outside.
