These sheets are not only NOT egyptian cotton-- They're not even cotton-- they're polyester. I know they are because I am allergic to some blends like this and broke out in a reaction after lying down on them. They are also very thin-- no where near the listed threadcount-- and poorly made with loose threads etc. I can buy sheets of this quality at the dollar store for under 15$. I am extremely dissapointed. This is a scam, or at least what I recieved is... Hoping for a proper replacement or a refund from the company, if this was in fact a mistake... If I recieve one, I will return to update this review.... but not optimistic. ... show more

Touted to fit up to 18" deep pockets, they barely fit my mattress at 14". I would have returned them, but with my trust in Amazon I laundered them prior to use. They were laundered in accordance with washing instructions supplied. Needless to say, my confidence in Amazon is shaken.

I did not expect great things but I did not expect to have sheets that are so rough and allegedly 1000 thread count. I have some 300 thread count that is softer than this! If I could give this product less than one star I would do not waste your money on this!

My sheets came and they are much much darker than the beautiful blue depicted in the photo. Thinking about returning but I figure I'll wait to see how they wash out since I already have them. They are a tad scratchy before some laundry softener. We shall see.
