This Collector’s Edition Metal Sonic Figure is so cool! It has so much articulation and Metal Sonic can hit almost any pose you want, you can get really creative with these poses. Metal Sonic scales properly with the rest of the collectors edition figures. (The only other Sonic Collector’s Edition Figure I have is a customized Shadow which I turned into Mephiles’ first form) I also love how they actually added metallic paint to the figure. The background is also pretty cool, I believe it is supposed to be Stardust Speedway from Sonic Generations. I would have liked Stardust Speedway from Sonic CD better, but it still looks cool. I also added some paint because some paint was missing or discolored, especially on the bottom of the shoes. I also like how it comes with a transparent peg with the base to give Metal Sonic a “floating effect”. Also, Metal Sonic’s eyes light up if you press down his left ear. He does need batteries to do it though, which you can insert in the back of his head and you will need a screwdriver. The figure also comes with three swappable face plates, one regular set of eyes, one set of eyes looking up, (yes this means he can hit the hue hue hue hue or that one Sonic OVA pose) and a set of broken/ battle damaged eyes. (It is not actually broken, it is just meant to look broken or battle damaged even though it is not actually.) Metal Sonic also comes with two sets of swappable hands, two closed hands and two hands that you can open or close and that has articulation on the thumb, index and middle fingers, and ring and pinky fingers. The last set of accessories Metal Sonic comes with is blast effects to attach to his back. You attach a small little fire piece, then you can either attach to that a long straight fire effect, or a long curved fire effect. Great for flying effects. Overall, great figure, worth the 60 bucks, and I give this figure a 9.5 out of 10. Recommended for Sonic Collector’s Edition Figure Collectors, and for Metal Sonic Fans. ... show more

I bought this movie character set because I wanted a small collection of different characters instead of having to buy them one at a time. I have mostly used these figures for cake decorating over the last few weeks, and I love the variety they add to the party cakes I make. I began by putting Knuckles, Shadow, the Buzz Bomber, and the drone on the cake together. The figures are only about 2.5 inches tall (approx. 6.3 cm), so they don't take up much space and are easy to position. After the party, I washed them off, and now I am ready to create a dedicated display area for them. The diverse cast provides numerous options for setting the scene in terms of play. My kid can take multiple figures and mix and match and make different scenarios from the movie instead of having to move one character around. We use Knuckles and Shadow the most in our house, but the Buzz Bomber and Drone bring some variety to the lineup to keep playtime fresh and not stale. I was curious how they would hold up to frequent handling, and so far, my experience has been great. ... show more
