And the lace as well as the main body of the wrap are the same shade of deep, vivid blue, which makes it look upscale. I don't find it to be too hot, even living the deep south. It arrived in good condition with minimal packaging and emitted no strange odors or chemical smells. Additionally, it needed no ironing and remains wrinkle-free. The dimensions are true to size at 70.7” L x 27.5” W (180 cm x 70 cm). The generous size is perfect for wearing over the head or draping over the shoulders in a variety of ways. It can easily be styled with brooches, shawl pins, and rings for added flair. The material strikes a balance between soft and slightly rough. It is breathable and somewhat see-through. The strength of the fabric is impressive; it won't easily tangle, snag, or get damaged with normal wear. The lacey edge adds a lovely touch of elegance and interest to the scarf. It can be hand-washed and hung to dry, and the material dries quickly. I recently wore this scarf with a costume, and it held up wonderfully. Soft material in a feminine, neutral grey color with dainty lace edging…the material is sheer as shown in the last photo, so be aware of this when purchasing. It is easy to wear, and simple to wash on delicate or hand wash and hang to dry, I haven’t had problems with excessive wrinkles. This scarf is semi-sheer and has a beautiful knitted scalloped edge. It is securely stitched and doesn't fray. I washed this scarf immediately and wore it to an appointment. I got many comments on how pretty it was. I rolled the scarf; and wore it as a headband, with the tie to the left. I know it wasn't made to wear as a headband, but it matched my outfit.
