I needed a replacement for my thin sunglasses for small purses but with polarization. This one looks different than my more expensive brand name pair or my RX sunglasses. But it does the job versus a pair of sunglasses that doesn't have any polarization.

The sunglasses provide a clear, polarized tinted view. The frame is wire and somewhat thin. The thinness does seem to takeaway from the durability. The glasses are not flimsy, but are not the type of glasses that I think would withstand much abuse. They are perfect for me as I use them from driving and also other activities. I do not use them for sport or any other aggressive behavior. They are fashionable sunglasses that do their job effectively and will last a while so long as they aren’t abused or thrown around. These are really lightweight, so I do worry a little bit about the quality, but for the price, I think it will be fine. The fit nicely, and are a good size.

    • Lightweight, stylish, affordable!

I love aviator style sunglasses, and there were so many great color options to choose from! I wanted a backup that looked the same as my favorite pair, which has green lenses and gold toned frames (like a Ray Ban knockoff). These sunglasses fit the bill and were affordable, plus were polarized, which was new for me! They're really lightweight, and the nose pads haven't slipped from my small and thin nose. One reviewer thought they felt slightly flimsy, and is somewhat true. The arms of the glasses are very thin, so you have to be mindful about not shoving them in a bag or carelessly opening them up. They come with a microfiber case/slip, but I opted to use another case that better protected the lenses from being smushed. The media could not be loaded. The pink lens are what makes these fantastic and easy for me to see. Sturdy and light. I have always liked the aviator style. If you like what you see this is what you want to buy.

    • They're fine, you get what you pay for

Rating explanation: Sun protection got a 3 because... they are sunglasses and they work. Light weight got a 2 because they're a little TOO light weight if you take my meaning and value for money got a 3 because you get what you pay for. An acceptable pair of sunglasses for the price, but nothing special. I have very sensitive eyes, going out without sunglasses, sometimes even at night, is very painful. I start this review with this so you understand how seriously I take sunglasses. I like aviator style the best, they suit my face and they have pretty good coverage and it's a classic look. With those establishing facts out of the way I'll start the review by saying I did research on good brands. Unsurprisingly Ray Ban were at the top of the list but I can't afford nearly $200 for sunglasses (no matter how much I would love a pair of them). Then on more than one list came Foster Grant. From prior experience I knew to be pretty solid but all the listings with foster grant on Amazon were NOT Foster Grants but shady companies lying about their brand. Again, I've owned multiple pairs so I know Foster Grant when I see them. Then I found this company and listing, they were pretty highly rated too and a good price, they even had the lens and frame color I wanted. I was excited and ordered them right away. I got them today and... while they do the job and are as depicted, they do feel almost as flimsy as the Dollar Tree aviators I was replacing. They work, they'll do the job for now, but I'm not super satisfied with the quality of the materials used. ... show more
