The wastebasket is a joke..the lid just won't stay on, and it's capacity is so small that it's really only suitable for a child's bathroom...plus you have to bend over to use it...I've already ordered a larger, sturdier wastebasket in the same color from another manufacturer. I bought this set for my daughters bathroom. I did not want to buy her the typical ceramic or glass fixtures, because I was afraid she would break them easily. This set is good for kids bathroom, but some of the parts aren't SUPER sturdy. The trash can lid, in particular, doesn't sit correctly.
