  • Comfy and effective
Size: Small-Medium Color: Grey
The best part about these socks is that the top is comfortable and does not cut into my leg. The fabric is stretchy enough to make these fairly easy to put on. My feet and ankles did not swell after sitting in the airport and on a two hour flight. Nice quality; I will definitely buy again!

  • Surprisingly comfy socks
Size: Medium-Large Color: Hyacinth
Broke my. ankle and need help with the swelling after the cast/boot stage. These socks are soft, cute, have good compression (I choose the Medium level), and I've had them on for a few hours (as i write the review) and my feet are happy. I will be ordering more pairs to use for travel and for helping with the swelling. Most compression socks dig in, but these do not hurt, and I love that they have merino wool so they dont smell and gave temperature regulation properties. ... show more

  • Good compression, attractive patterns.
Size: Small-Medium Color: Barley
As with all compression stockings, difficult to put on and take off, , but we expect that, don’t we!Comfortable and fun patterns.Even though threy contain wool, they are not too warm and are cushiony. I have several pair and choose to wear them rather than my cotton compression stockings because they are more comfortable. ... show more

  • My Favorite Socks :)
Size: Small-Medium Color: Grey
I love Sockwell socks! I also own the Chevron, On the Spot and Incline quarter compression socks, so if this review helps you and you are interested in how those socks fit, please check out my feedback on those. I have poor circulation due to weight gain when I was pregnant with my 2 children. Jump forward 20 years and now my doctor has told me I have Venous Insufficiency and the valves in my leg veins do not work properly. I was sentenced to wear compression hose, which as anyone knows, are UGLY, not to mention they don't hold up well. If you are active, then you have to wear regular socks over the hose in order to wear athletic shoes, what a pain. Enter Sockwell socks. They give my doctor-recommended amount of compression, are stylish (look like regular socks), are easier to put on than the hose and last longer. Just be sure to wash in cold water and hang to dry. Worth every penny and usually cost less than the nylon knee-his. Be advised that this model has cushioning on the bottom of the foot, so if you don't like that, check out the On The Spot socks which are not cushioned. If you have never bought this brand and are considering sizing, I wear an 8 1/2 Narrow shoe, am 5'3" tall and have 15" calves due to my leg swelling. According to Sockwell's size chart I should be a Large but for me the Small/Medium are a perfect fit. Large would be too big for my narrow feet and probably come up higher than my knee, so keep this in mind if you have a narrow foot or are short. How they feel: GREAT!!!!! I normally have to put my feet up intermittently throughout the day for 30 minutes at a time to control the swelling if i am not wearing these socks and now I can go about my normal activities without worrying about swelling or circulation. If I put these on first thing in the morning I can actually feel the blood circulating in my calves - my legs feel energized and it really affects my energy level in a positive way.. Although they are made from wool, I do not find them to be too warm except when it is really hot, then I wear my short Incline socks. Try them for yourself and see - all the great reviews are true! ... show more

  • Good compression, great fit - update
Update - I submitted the review below several years ago, and you still get 4 stars for fit, performance, ease of care, and durability. But... at the time, I was able to purchase 3 different solid colors; now if I want a solid, I'd better love black. I have taken to buying the men's socks because I don't look for compression socks to be fun fashion accessories. They are a necessity, and I am too conservative to appreciate bright colors, stripes, dots, chevrons, etc. I cannot use your current women's offerings and that is disappointing. First review: I need to wear compression socks, but despise the nylon types. I stick to cotton blends when I can find them, but the Sockwell blends are better, very breathable while still providing the compression I need. The seams are non-irritating, overall comfort is great. The 4-star rating is due to a defect in one sock, resulting in a sizable hole in the toe seam, which I unfortunately did not discover until after washing (who doesn't wash black socks before wearing?). I will replace the pair eventually. On the whole, I feel the pairs of these socks that I have purchased over time are worth the money. ... show more

  • Easy fit
Size: Small-Medium Color: Grey
I was a little concerned about the fit and ease of application after reading some of the reviews. I am a size 7 shoe size and I ordered a S/ M. It was a perfect fit. Also I followed the instructions on how to put on the socks the easy way. Super easy! There is also a video on the Sockwell web site. They feel great on my feet and legs. I will update on whether they help with the ankle and foot swelling. ... show more

  • Top of the line!
Size: Medium-Large Color: Barley
Well made, comfortable, durable, and attractive. I'm a repeat customer and appreciate the new color options, mostly marketed in the women's section, but "large women's" & "small men's" sizes are the same. Great packaging with helpful instructions.

  • Comfort is the key
Size: Medium-Large Color: Ink
These socks are very comfortable. They are thick as support socks should be and the price is right. I have paid over $70 for the stockings that the doctor ordered.
