  • These are great!
Bought these to keep walking in the winter in the snow. I'm new to snow shoeing so I did a bit of research first, these work great, the poles are adjustable and the shoes are easy to put on and take off with quick release and ratchet clamps. Love the color, build quality and the price was right. Would highly recommend! ... show more

  • Excellent For Kids
Purchased 2 of these for my kids age 10. Not willing to spend more, as they will most likely outgrow them in a couple of seasons. Much to my surprise, these worked great! I was a bit skeptical at first, seem plasticky, wasn’t sure if bondings would hold their lock. But, they worked perfect. Not cumbersome, and stayed afloat on the snow. My kids feet are pretty small. For a good fit, simply move the rear plastic grip all the way down, cinch all the way and have your kids foot all the way back into it before locking the two front cinches. Poles look good and sturdy, all lock in place, but have not been used yet. Gaiters look a bit crappy but they served their purpose, kept their shins and feet snow free and dry. Would definitely recommend these for kids. Well worth the money. ... show more

  • A winner for me
If the "shop pro" was impressed with my price, that makes these a winner. I see issues with the bindings over time, but for my once per year snowshoe schedule these are winners.

  • Great to have
After the snowmageddon in Southern California last year where mobility was extremely restricted, I thought it prudent to get a few sets for my family on the off-chance the earth’s changing weather patterns would give a repeat performance this year. Fortunately the snowfall has been much more reasonable this year, although that resulted in not actually being able to use the shoes. But I’ve got them, they’re easy to put on and off, so I’m happy. ... show more

  • Durable and works as advertised
Does the job, lightweight and durable. The sticks are not very sturdy, but I wasn't expecting them to be as they came as an extra.

  • Poles are junk and return process is difficult
I The snow shoes are fine for our 10 y/o but the poles are cheap junk. If you snow shoe and especially have kiddos, the poles are pretty important for stability. We asked Amazon to send us new poles to replace the junk we received in this order and were told that we can only ask for a complete replacement order or a full refund but that they couldn’t just replace the poles. We decided to go with a refund to the amazon account and then we were told it could take up to 30 days + 7 days for the refund to go through. It originally took 10 days from the time we ordered to the time we actually received the item, one day to find out the product is junk, and up to 37 days to get our money back. This is a joke! Don’t waste your money or your time! ... show more

  • Excellent!
Worked great - 4 mile hike, these snowshoes were wonderful and stayed in place the whole time in deep snow. The poles were a bit hard to adjust and keep from collapsing but otherwise, highly recommend! Great price too!

  • 'Shoes OK, but the straps and poles need work!
We hoped to replace our 20+ year old snowshoes with this updated model. Sadly, with plenty of Michigan winter left, we are returning them after 3 treks. The ratchet straps were a reason we purchased these. Strangely, one of the 4 rubber ratchet straps was mis-threaded, on the bottom of the strap area instead of the top, where the ratchet would work. We wrestled that into the correct position and carried on. The poles: no matter how carefully they were tightened, had a tendency to collapse during the trek. Frustrating! And, cold metal poles (full of snow), are next to impossible to re-set to the correct length and to then re-tighten in the middle of a forest of snow. Additionally, the pole strap is extremely small - much too small for an adult's mitt or glove to go through. Lastly, the poles have a very small basket on the tip, so when planted, they go way down, instead of floating more like larger pole baskets do. And, maddeningly, the final straw was when one of the too-small basket tips totally escaped the tip of the pole when planted during a trek, lost to the forest trail until May. For the rest of this winter season we'll carry on with the older 'shoes and all their buckles and straps, and use ski poles! PLUSES: they are very lightweight and the ice crampon is great. Fix the pole problems and we'll try again! ... show more
