Many people have said in their reviews they wish they could turn off the blue light. While reading the item description, I found that if you hold down the antifog button, it will turn off the blue lights. Now this takes me to my next point. The mirror itself, while powered on makes a buzzing sound. If I turn the mirror on the buzzing sound get somewhat more quiet but I can still hear It. If I hold down the antifog button the blue button lights turn off and that humming or buzzing sound goes away completely. It still annoys me that the mirror makes noise while I am in the bathroom using it though. I am pretty sensitive to buzzing sounds and it's pretty noticeable if you were standing in front of it. Overall, I would say the mirror is nice looking. It has a clear reflection and was not too difficult to hang up. Its not as bright as I had hoped it would be. The anti fog only works in the center of the mirror for mine. I have the 60 by 36 size. However, you should know it is actually measuring at 59 and a 1/2 by 35 and a 1/2. The last thing I do not care for is that the mirror stays warm in the center above and around the blue lights. This is the case even when I hold down the fog button and the blue lights turn off. I wish I would have hardwired this into a switch. I think this would be the only way to avoid the mirror staying warm while not in use and to rid the buzzing. ... show more

Ok, so I ordered this wondering if I could install this on a switch and it would remember the settings. I haven’t yet installed it for long term use, but I tested out the memory. I would not use this as the only light source in the bathroom, but is does look great, and can change the mood of the room easily with the RBG option. The defogger is awesome, no more clearing mirror with hair dryer. The media could not be loaded. So I’m doing a bathroom remodel and purchased 2 lighted mirrors from my local lowes store that have returned for being to big.
