    • Illegal in Most States, Don't Buy!
Turns out this aftermarket fender is illegal in most states. Double check your state's fender laws before purchasing. I installed my fenders only to find out a few days later by a cop that they were illegal and would warrant a ticket unless I had them removed. In the one week I had them I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Wheels stick out a few inches on both sides, so tires throw snow, slush, and mud everywhere. It coats the entire side of your jeep not to mention your door handles are covered in crap. These fenders are strictly for off road use only, but you won't find that listed anywhere in the description. Can't believe amazon allows companies to sell products that are illegal in most states without any type of disclaimer. Very disappointed, don't waste your time or money. ... show more

While they look great, the workmanship on mine is not the best I have seen. I had to grind of spotty welds to make fit properly and the nutcerts are very cheap. In my opinion it is best to buy steel nutcerts and not use the cheap ones provided. I will not buy Smittybilt products again. the fit and finish on my jeep now looks very sub standard. ... show more
