Woah! This costume is waaaay better than I expected. I can’t believe it was only $30 and doesn’t feel like cheapy junk at all. The fabric is very nice- extremely soft and silky, a nice shimmery champagne color- and does not wrinkle up easily which is a huge plus. Yes, it is a bit sheer, but it’s honestly kind of sexy. Wear a slip otherwise. The brooch thing on the shoulder piece is gorgeous- heavy but definitely sewed on very well and not going anywhere. The rope is good and even the headband is cute- I got a different one separately though. Yes it’s a bit loose but that’s exactly what the belt is for... looks soo awesome on all together. I WILL say- I’m 5’8 and 135 and this thing was pretty long on me still. The shoulder sash is almost hitting the floor which is impressive. Also- my chest is only about 32B and the front droops under my breast which leads it to actually come out the side of the costume occasionally.. so- you need to wear a bra under or get body tape to tape it to your side, maybe unless you’re a C cup and over.. if you’re petite, say 5’4 and under and weigh less than 120- you might get swallowed by this costume.. be advised. I’m so excited to wear this for Halloween though- it’s beautiful! Worth every penny.

I bought this because I will be portraying the goddess Venus at a gathering and needed a costume that was beautiful and elegant, in order to depict her loving and seductive nature, while still keeping it pg-13. I'm so happy with this purchase, because it is exactly what I wanted. It *does* fit bigger, but I'm glad it does because I bought a Large and I am a plus size girl (14-18 dress size) and it fits me amazingly! Just an FYI, Keep in mind that it is VERY sheer. You may want to buy pasties and sheer underwear to go along with it.

Cute costume but awful quality. Came with snagged material and the leaves fell off the belt immediately when tying it. We have to make it work for a school production that is 2 days away...but I would not recommend this product.

Glad I listened to the reviews from other people about it fitting large. I actually didn't wear the costume as is, because it looked unflattering like a sheet, but was able to pin up the back and the sash and make it into a completely different looking costume. It's comfortable and not that see through, which was a surprise. It was also nice how many accessories it came with. The party I went to had a girl singing on stage who was wearing the same costume and it looked much better on her! She wore it as is, and probably had a much smaller size.

Costume is semi see through but that’s not my issue. I received the costume sorry on the front. Looked like dirt so I figured I would just wash it and not make a big deal. After scrubbing with all sorts of cleaners realized it was STAINED! The “dirt” is not coming off. Too late to get another costume so now I have to wear it dirty. Very disappointing!!!!!

I loved this costume. It makes me feel so sexy! I'm 5'2" and 190lbs at a size 10-14 or so (distinctly an L). It fit beautifully and was really flattering since the gold cord creates a waistline wherever works for your body. I didn't wear the sash/shoulder piece like the model does. Firstly, I'm too short and would have tripped. Secondly, I wanted a mid torso sash. So I tied it around my waist and that was also flattering! The material is flattering and shimmers. A friend got a pure white cloth toga and it looked... dull. This was a stunner! Paired with "goddess leg wraps" from a Halloween store (wore them on my arms instead) and gold sandals... I looked amazing! Definitely will be looking for excuses to wear this again!

It's really soft and comfy. But looks really baggy by itself you really need to have the belt which really ties it together. If it wasn't for one huge issue of it being 100% see thru I would have kept it and loved it. So you could wear soemthing under it out it wasn't worth it to me. Also, it does run big but it's not a huge deal when you just tie it up with the belt.
