Used these to make our wedding rings, coins, cufflinks, and more! Didn’t need the biggest one, but I must’ve done at least 30 heats each in the medium and smaller ones. Used oxy-propane with #2 torch head did brass, copper, silver and gold. Never had any issues, made sure to treat with 000 borax and had no sticking issues at all. Couldn’t be happier with this set. My first delivery came smashed in it's box. Replacement arrived quicker than greased lightning. It's small as I knew going into the purchase. It worked after treating it with flux, however it did spaul after 3rd time melting silver. These crucibles are very thin. I would say adaquate for small hobby project such as I had to do but not for a long term usage.. ... show more

Packages to prevent breakage. Comes with 2 small clay-like dishes. The tongs fit nice and snug on the dishes. Overall, got what i paid for, hopefully it performs well AFTER heat treat.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second time ordering this item and the first was perfect I don't know what went wrong. And not being able to get it replaced is really irritating.

It looked more sturdy on the screen than it feels in my hands. Too thin, i think. Does notvseem to be very long life item. The handle is also a little wobilly. I got it with a very nice flame torch and Borax - so i inmidialy glazed it. I hope it will last the heat of MAPP gas. Does or does not - i will update. Overall so so. I gave it three stars.
