Over the past 5 years, I have had my personal identity & banking information lifted from my the RFID chip in my creditcard. This has happened to me while walking downtown, at the airport & even while having lunch at a restaurant. To try and prevent this from happening to me again, I've tried those little sleeves and other wallets. I have an electrical engineer friend who showed me a way to test if the RFID was being blocked (or not). This wallet by Yeerovan is a handsome & masculine wallet that shows old-school style but adds modern RFID blocking technology that actually prevents my personal data from being accessed! I chose the tan bi-fold & large capacity version. The stitching and leather materials used to construct this wallet appear to be heavy gauge and should prove resilient to wear and tear over time. I will share with you that this time, I spent a couple bucks more than I usually would on a wallet. I'm glad that I did! The thing that emboldened me was all of the positive reviews that all were glowingly positive. With Christmas season right around the corner, I intend to gift these Yeerovan wallets to friends and family.

A week in and I am very happy with the purchase. My previous wallet was a slim-style wallet with RFID protection. I enjoyed the small size of the slim wallet, but the minimal space and slots within the wallet ultimately led to me cramming everything in to relatively few spots. I found myself standing at checkouts and cash registers fishing through my wallet on the regular. I had a bifold wallet previous to that, and loved it and the organization it provides, but I needed to have RFID protection because of the very real threat of skimmers being used on the regular. This wallet satisfies all my needs for space, protection, and appearance. There are ample spaces to put credit cards, membership cards, or other routinely used cards that you’ll need to access regularly day in and day out. Thus far, I haven’t found myself trying to search for what I need. The ID window is easy to access, and after a week of being in my back pocket, the window isn’t starting to cloud up or become obscured (as it had on my previous wallet). Additionally, the removable money clip works great, it’s tight enough to keep cash in place but not so much that it makes it difficult to pull cash out when needed. The clip itself is removable, but I find that the wallet sits a little better with the clip in place than with it removed. I would have liked one additional card slot on the inside of the wallet. It currently has two and my previous wallet had three. However, it’s a small difference that hasn’t negatively impacted my ability to use the wallet. The protection of the wallet is a bit of an unknown. RFID blocking tech is fairly well established in the marketplace so I expected this to be a legit feature vs. just a line in a sales pitch. I used the clip with my work-issued ID badge and found that – in any pocket I placed it – the card reader at my employer wouldn’t read my badge. I’m going to safely assume that the reading tech employed by my company is probably better than the skimmers used by most bad actors. Suffice to say, I feel comfortable with the level of protection being offered by the RFID tech employed in this wallet. Finally, the look of the wallet is quite nice. It’s absolutely leather, and I chose the black exterior with the orange interior. I felt like the orange was a jarring enough color that I’d be able to see the wallet in a dim room or ID it quickly if it fell while I was out and about. There have been some comments made on the stitching from other reviews. I’d agree that it isn’t exquisite. I had to take a pair of scissors and trim off one loose thread, but the stitching itself has been intact without issue. I place my wallet in my back pocket and having sat on it for over a week, you can still tell it’s a new wallet. Overall, the look and durability far exceed the price point. The only downside I’d fault this wallet with is that it can get a bit bloated when it’s full. However, I also know I carry a lot in my wallet, so having the multitude of slots and spaces to place things is naturally going to lead to me carrying more. Once I went through and pared down what I was carrying with me, I found the wallet to by minimally larger than the slim wallet I was using previously. Would definitely recommend.

On one inside face, three credit card sized slots are in dropped form to facilitate easy removal of individual cards. Finally, there is a top loaded pocket capable of containing several other cards. This is a problem in many wallets because one must fumble with a tight opening at the top of the cards.I like this wallet very much

Simple and minimalistic design can store all my cards without any issue. The metal grip locks down cash very well so the money doesn't slip out. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple yet sleek wallet ideally a card holder.
