    • Well designed, albeit a little big...

First off I paid full price for this wallet and did not receive it for evaluation purposes. Secondly, I did return it because I couldn't decide between this one and a flip up ID style wallet without trying them both out. I did eventually go with the other one but this is still a really nice wallet for the money. PROs: ● The leather is really soft and nicely textured, it has a matte finish which I preferred over a shiny one. ● When the wallet is closed it has a spine like a hardcover book; this means it will stay flat even when stuffed with cards, and the cash pockets fold open straight without a kink which makes getting at cash a lot easier. ● The cards all sit at different heights, unlike some wallets where the bottom two cards sit at the same level making that middle card hard to extract. ● Cards slide in and out pretty easily with your thumb but won't fall out. As the wallet wears it will probably get even easier. ● The ID holder is tall, my license fits with plenty of extra room on the top and bottom; if you have an oversized ID this will come in handy. ● Overall quality seems excellent, as for durability, I'll never know... CONs: ● It's tall, or rather wide when it's sitting in my back pocket; this made getting it out a bit harder. On the plus side it will probably never fall out by accident. ● It's thick; you'll probably feel it more when you're sitting on it. This is due to the width as well as the thickness, narrower wallets tend to move out of the way when I sit on them. This is a really nice wallet and I hated to return it, but I only need one and the smaller one fit me better. ... show more

    • Large, a little strange feeling, but nice

A large wallet is like one of those "can't have your cake and eat it too" situations. If it's too slim, it doesn't hold much and the card slots are suuuuper tight (I hate that). If it's too large, it can be bulky and a little cumbersome. So honestly, yes, this wallet is large. It's a little awkward. BUT! As far as large wallet goes, this one isn't bad, especially considering it has an RFID blocker. It's not terribly bulky, though it is longer than I thought it'd be. The only "con" I think I have is that the middle part isn't as stiff as I would like it to be. If you take it and spread it apart in front of you, the middle piece "sags" a bit. It's not a huge deal but it's just something I think could make it a little bit less... wobbly? I can't describe it any other way. In all I do like the wallet. I can't say I am a fan of the matte finish, as I like my wallets to be a little textured. But that's not a problem exactly, it's just a preference. ... show more

My kids wanted to give their dad something for father's day and I knew my husband's old Fossil was quite battered so I decided to order this wallet much in advance lest it got delayed in the post. It's not even been a couple of weeks since he began using it and the bottom seam on the inner flap has already come apart. His Fossil is 4 years old and as yet not one of the seams has given way. I hardly get the time to post reviews but in this case I decided to just to warn new buyers of my experience. My kids are sad that their dad isn't using their 'gift'. and I feel responsible because I chose this. I can understand if the leather surface (if it is leather?) frayed or cracked but for the seam to come off like as if it was just glued on shows how poorly made this product is. I can't even return the product as my 30 day window is up and I guess next time I can't order anything in advance. Though this wallet might have the space for a lot of cards, it certainly doesn't have the strength to hold them all without coming apart in no time. I didn't want to start reviewing on Amazon with a bad review but I hope someone benefits from my experience. Too bad they don't have a 0.5 star rating as that is all this product is worth ... show more

This supposedly leather wallet isn't. The first time I had in my pocket for a day, the covering of some kind of synthetic membrane pealed off. When I found this, the backing material was very puffy and I easily pinched a piece off. If this backing panel is leather, it is about the worst grade I have ever seen. My assessment is this wallet might last longer if you can keep it inside a dehumidifier and a soft pouch so it won't experience a lick of friction. This arrived within 2 days. The packaging was AMAZING! For the price it comes in a gift box, wrapped in cloth, with a warranty card and all of that was in a plastic sleeve. This is a gift for Christmas so I can't comment on use, but from just inspecting it, the leather felt soft and supple. I say leather and I mean REAL LEATHER! The wallet ends up real bulky in your pocket. I like the amount of card storage it has but the horizontal design makes it much bulkier than I expected. It seems like each 3 layers of cards stack on each other plus any cash inside makes it really stand out. I understand the RF blocking but with the cards in place there is almost nothing showing of the card and they become very difficult to remove from the slots.
