I guess technically these do what they advertise. But for the money, and they were quite pricey, I regret getting them. I was hoping they'd keep my back from getting sore from standing at the kitchen counter when I prepare food (they don't). Plus, they are so utterly annoying because each time I walk into my kitchen I swear those mats (I purchased two) have "walked" several inches from their assigned posts, and they are always crooked!! That of course infuriates the OCD synapses in my little brain so I have to tap the AWOL mats back into place with my feet, only to play this little dance again and again throughout the day. I'm quite certain that one day I'm just going to lose my normally sweet self and gleefully chuck 'em out my kitchen window. And when that happens, I'll smile a little smile of victory, make a tuna sandwich and enjoy my day in peace. ... show more

This mat was perfect for putting beside my ironing board in my quilting room! I often found my legs and feet were fatigued after a full day of ironing and pressing fabric while making a quilt. With this mat, I haven't had any pain or fatigue in my legs or feet! I highly recommend!!

After standing for hours on a slab floor preparing holiday dinner for my family, I was in terrible pain. A neighbor of mine suggested a cushioned mat for my kitchen. I purchased this mat in two sizes. What a difference! No more back or foot pain. Heaven on earth!

    • Doesn't last very long. New version is not nearly as comfortable as old version

We bought one of these mats in 2020. It was plush and comfortable to stand on while washing dishes on ceramic tile flooring. The only major issue for the first couple of years is that the mat would not stay in place, but would slowly drift around as you got onto and off of it. At least twice per day you'd have to readjust it back into position. A different rubber composition on the bottom is needed to help it stay in place better. After about 2.5 years, though, it developed a tear in the top layer causing an unsightly 6 inch wide white hole in the pattern which was ragged around the edges. We liked the original so much before it tore that we decided to get another one even though it only lasted less than 3 years. When the new one arrived and we placed it next to the old one, two things were evident: 1) The old one had faded considerably over its 3 years of use. It was never in direct sunlight, but it had faded to be very pale. The new one was much more vibrant. 2) They really cheaped out on the padding on the new one. Even though the old one has been in use for 3 years, it is still noticeable thicker and more cushioned feeling than the new one. The new one is maybe 2/3 the height and is much firmer. It honestly doesn't feel all that much better than standing on the ceramic tile. Why did they change the padding? This is really not a very effective cushioning mat any longer. One other thing... since these are shipped flat with a big "Do not bend" sticker on the packaging, you will receive it in an absurdly large box. Your neighbors may think you got a new refrigerator dropped on your front porch. ... show more

Purchased two when they had a special going so the price was good. The colors are not close to what is pictured in their photos. I was expecting bright teal and navy mats. They are comfortable to stand on but do not “stick” in place so I am constantly moving them back in place. I live near the beach and my dogs do track in sand so that could be why, otherwise they work well. ... show more

The mat is padded well and nice on my socking feet. I have ran a mop over it once since its arrival and it clean up easily. We will see what the future wear and tear occurs, but so far all is good!
