My 3rd grader needed to learn his states and capitals, so we got this game. I treated it as a very casual game (NOT school) and he absolutely loved it and went from knowing a few states, to now knowing ALL the states (even those tricky little NE ones) plus most of the capitals within about 2 weeks. We tweaked how to play a little and only used capitals as the clue. Great game!
