Great shoe, except for the funky tongue that isn’t attached, isn’t padded (at ALL) and the way the laces don’t allow a quick on and off. For $80 the least Skechers can do is give you a sneaker with a real tongue and a shoe you don’t have to fight to get on or off. It’s really a $70 sneaker except for the brand name. But I do wear them because of the rocking motion to the sneaker, a rarity nowadays. Because shoes with a rocking motion are sought after by people like me with foot damage from neuropathy or surgery, it’s sad the tongue of the sneaker is so thin and awkward, as well as the lacing system. But I feel obligated to give 5 stars bc I don’t want Skechers to stop making soles that help people like to me walk easier (and oh yes, it does! I have stage 2/3 neuropathy in one foot, toe paralysis too, and the other foot has a big toe that’s forgotten how to lift off and push off. I also have early foot drop and the rounded soles help avoid those skuffs and trips. They are comfortable once on, lightweight, and supportive all over (minus the tongue area, which always feels tight, and I’m sure that’s not all neuropathy speaking). I love the heel height and the amazing support to the balls of my feet, and to my ankles as well. Overpriced, I think? But still worth it. ... show more

SOOOO comfy! I am so glad I was able to find white in my size too! These NON hands free Sketchers are not stiff as the other hand free versions of Sketchers. I would give 4.5 if i could. These are pretty decent shoes. But the back became a problem for me over time w little hard. I however think it may be user error if someone was asking me if they should buy these i would still say yes. I feel they are pretty great if you want a comfortable pair of shoes but cant quite make the jump to shoes twice the peice like brookes. ... show more

I am truly a fan of the sketchers brand. I Got this pair because I wanted black walking shoes. White and other lighter colors seem to show dirt or become dingy over time, even from simply walking outside. I put these on straight from the box. I did not go for my walk, however I did wear them all day for shopping and running errands. These shoes did not disappoint. They are so comfortable. My feet are pain free and I like how they look. The size and fit are true. This shoe has shoe laces that stay tied until you untie them. So no worries of looking down to find your laces untied. The price is right for the quality of this shoe.
