  • Perfect fit
very comfortable feet relaxed not tight fitting and no feet aches after long 14 hour days work.

  • Very nice for work
These shoes are very comfortable and the style of them is nice without looking to bland. I tried them on in a store before I bought them. 9.5 is my size and it fits fine. The band around the top is a bit snug for the top part of my feet (I have more fat on the top of my feet). But have stretched over time the past week or so. If you walk a lot they will break in real quick. I like the extra cushion in the heel, since I put most of my weight on my heels. I assume this will help give them longer life via the soul. Because there is extra padding in the heel, when I put them on I feel like my heel is just barely in the shoe. But they have not slipped out(the back part of the shoe sets just below the bend at the back of the foot) I'm assuming it's just me because I have been wearing the same worn out shoes for three years. I walk on gravel most of the time at work, these shoes have good traction. Comfy comfy comfy, will buy again if still available when these ones wear out. ... show more

  • Good, Sturdy, Non-Slip Shoes for Work
I bought these for my daughter who got her first job as a greeter in a restaurant. They fit when she put them on and felt good but her feet did hurt by the end of her shift. I think that they needed a breaking in period to loosen up a bit. After about a week or so she said they were fine and she's been wearing them since. She misplaced them one day and had to wear a different pair and after work she commented that her Sketchers must be awesome with being slip resistant because the different pair she wore were terrible. She slipped all night. After we found her shoes (under her bed! Go figure!) she has happily worn them since. The price is right for Sketchers in general but the breaking in process isn't something we have ever had with this brand before. ... show more

  • Not the cutest but SUPER COMFY and definately worth it!
Was a little worried because I have a slightly wider foot, the shoe fit a little tight At first but after about a week of wear they shaped to my foot pretty well and I could already feel them loosen up a little and now they fit perfect. I've had them for a little over a year now and I love them. My feet rarely if not never hurt while wearing them- but achy feet are to be expected when you stand for 8+ hours a day and these were so comfortable and made long work days so much more bearable. I hardly ever have pain anymore. They are a little clunky but waaaayy more flattering than some of the other shoes ive seen out there. You can also remove the bottom shoe inserts it comes with and replace them with your own which is pretty nice. ... show more

  • About a six month lifespan
Well I loved these shoes when they came in. Sketchers has always been a great brand for me. They were lightweight, comfortable and broke in easily without any discomfort. They held their shape great and didn't crease too much across the top. But then the soles fell off. The slip resistant surface just peeled right off one day while at work. I got the shoes in late June of this year and here it is early December. The shoes still look fairly new, minimal scuffs and creasing but no slip resistant sole. I work a cash register in food service. I don't put them through near as much water as the guys in the kitchen do theirs. I do quite a bit of walking and standing. I only used them for work so they weren't subjected to any harsher wear and tear. I've had Sketchers shoes last me two or more years before needing replacement, different styles granted. I wonder if I simply got a faulty pair? I'm wearing an older pair while the shoe repair glue sets on these but really, it seems way too soon for me to be gluing them back together already. ... show more

  • My high arches ached after wearing these shoes for weeks & they squeak!
These are the worse shoes I've ever worn. I walk a lot on my job and my old cheap pair of shoes that worked fine just wore out so I read reviews and ordered these after getting some Doctor Scholl's that were, like these, too small when I simply got my standard shoe size. After the Dr. Scholl's and the reviews here I knew to buy a larger size so I got 8 1/2. Truly an extra 1/8 to 1/4 inch would've been better but a size 9 would probably have been too bad. Partly I think this is because the shoe comes with a removable shoe cushion which seems to be extra padded in the heel area which causes the feet to be pushed forward in an uncomfortable way. Let me also add that they squeak when walking! At first I thought the insoles were soft and would work beautifully but after a bit there was a lot of pain right before my heels near the outside of my feet. I tried all kinds of massaging and stretches to no avail. Pain persisted. I got gel cushions for the heels. Pain seemed worse, not better. Finally, after my usual three days off and noticing once again that the pain wasn't as bad as my 'weekend' progressed, I realized it had to be the new shoes. Now I do have a high arch so I thought perhaps the additional arched cushion was the problem so I pulled out all extras and just wore the shoe. Still pain. Finally I just went to a previous shoe I had stashed away. Viola! Pain starts to be less. It's still there a bit but it's only been a couple of weeks since I gave up the Skechers. Now I love Skechers. I really do. Usually they're quite comfortable and a pleasure to wear. But these were just awful. But again, I have been told that my arches are like a Barbie Doll's (weird comment, I know but that person's observation) and that may have played a part in it. Perhaps if I'd thought to remove the cushion in the beginning I'd still be loving Skechers. Perhaps. And yet who can say? All I know is that my feet don't hurt half as much as they did before. I could barely walk on my off days when I first woke up! And I was walking less than I usually did when I got the Skechers! Plus, the squeaking never went away as I thought it might although I did look online to see how to prevent the noise. But I never got around to it since I just gave them up. Just a really odd experience. The removable insoles may help if one has a low arch possibly. But, maybe, beware if you have high arches I guess. Squeak, squeak. ... show more
