I love these sandals! Let me start by saying I have plantar fasciitis. As a result of this condition I wear custom made orthotics in my shoes, so summertime is a challenge. Any sandal without proper arch support leaves me in excruciating pain after only wearing them a short time. Many years ago I purchased this same sandal (in brown) and they are basically my permanent summer footwear - freeing my feet from their summertime claustrophobia of sneakers. This year I was devastated that I had to "put them to rest". They had done their time and there was no way I could get another season out of them. I searched high and low in local shoe stores and found nothing that compared. I knew it was going to be a dreadful summer. It finally dawned on me to check amazon and was delighted to find the exact sandal! - and that they came in multiple colors/designs!!! Aside from how sporty and cute these are, let's talk practicality: The sole of this shoe is firm and supportive yet provides sufficient cushion for comfortable all-day wear. They have an adjustable strap with a velcro closure so you can really get your foot stabilized in them, keeping the arch of the foot aligned with the built-in support. The ability to achieve this snug fit also eliminates blisters often caused when your foot shifts, making them suitable for long walks and even mild hiking. I don't have a wide foot but I would imagine this sandal would accommodate a fairly wide foot. I have to say that in general I hate thong sandals, but I really cannot feel the material that goes between the toes on these sandals. They are durable (my previous pair lasted several years), they clean easily and even with the suede accents it never posed a problem when they got wet. Highly recommended! ... show more

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. You can adjust the straps. It feels amazing to walk and I'm so glad I took a chance and ordered them. My feet are very grateful and they look great as well. Well worth it!

I have VERY high arches, so finding footwear with decent arch support is always very difficult. After reading thru the reviews I decided to give these a try (rather then spend a fortune on another pair of Vionic sandals) Glad I did, bc these have even better arch support. I don't typically like thong type sandals but these are so comfortable, you dont feel the toe loop at all. So far, the rubber footbed doesn't cause sweating, and the sole has excellent traction. I have narrow feet, but these have a Velcro strap that made that a non issue. I've got plantar fasciitis and some other foot problems as well, but Sketchers usually work well for me. This is a cute design and foot bed is comfortable, cushioned and flexible with adequate support. I gave it four stars instead of five because of the fabric used for the toe wrap. I knew it was fabric before I bought it, but it turned out to not be quite what I was looking for. I wanted flipflops/sandals I could quickly and easily slip on and off without having to adjust with my hands. Given that the fabric bunches and sometimes isn't quite where or how you want it, you've often got to adjust it when putting them on. Sometimes the fabric loop just felt too tight and cut into the top of my foot or toe a bit. I kept the sandals, but bought a different pair of sketchers at a local store for my go to sandal this past summer. Wore these on nicer occasions, but not as my go to everyday. ... show more

Second time I have gone with this style and I just love them. Sooooo comfortable and easy to wear. I can wear these hiking on the beach all day and my feet feel great. I was diagnosed with plantars fascitis and have to wear shoes all the time now. I grew up going barefoot. These have the arch I need and are the most comfortable shoes I have. No more foot pain. I've even washed them in the washing machine.
