These are real suede and well made. They are not wedged on the inside but look as though they are (they are platforms) and look great on. These are TRUE TO SIZE! I tried on Sketchers in a store and the ones I tried on all ran large. But I took the reviews here to heart and ordered my exact size (8.5 medium or regular, my feet are not wide). This was the correct choice! The fit is perfect. Con: My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is lack of arch support. They’re honestly fine without it. But I searched for ones with some support because I will be walking a lot and I’ve had some foot problems. I would definitely buy these shoes again though. They are comfortable as-is. I was thankfully able to put in a low profile orthotic insert (“profoot triad orthotic” from Wal mart) that made this shoe absolutely perfect for me. I will probably order another pair. ... show more

I got these boots to keep my ankles warm and supported. It took a couple of days to feel very comfortable wearing them and now they fit like a glove. Comfy wedge sole helps me staying on my feet for hours. They are also good for walking.

I'm usually a 7.5 wide in shoes but with sketchers I always order up. I bought this in a 8 wide. Love the loose fit as its not snug but not too loose that my foot is moving around alot. It really depends on how ypu like your shoes to fit. The tag says water proof. I have yet to test that. Love the height boost and I find it easy to walk in because I love wedged heels overall. There is enough space in the ankle part if I wanted to wear thicker and longer socks. I'd say try it. I love these so much I want a second pair. ... show more

I cannot even put into words how obsessed with these shoes I am. The comfort is insane. I love that I look like the girly that wears heels to work everyday, yet nobody knows they are more comfortable than slippers lol. The wide sizes are truly wide unlike a lot of brands. Skechers shoes NEVER disappoint, they are always super comfortable, stylish, and a perfect fit. I probably own 10 pairs of all different styles from them including wedge sandals, slip-on sneakers, and regular sneakers in all sorts of colors.
