They're not great for long walks as they don't offer a ton of support, but they're great for a mile or two. I typically wear a 5-5.5. These are really comfortable walking shoes! They have incredible support, which is one of the reasons I returned to buy them again in this color! Think I have bought 4 or 5 pairs now. Design is pretty neutral, where you can wear them with ultra casual around the house or even to go out for a casual dinner. The quality of the shoes goes beyond what could be expected for how rough the circumstances I have worn them in, and they are still holding up! These are super easy to care for, throw in the washing machine, and they look new! If you somehow gte a stain on them, I use a spray & wash type shout pre-treat and the material comes clean. On a pair of white ones, I even got most of the chainsaw oil 'out' that dripped on them. I allow mine to air dry after washing. Though, I have endured some extreme conditions, landscaping and hiking in mine and mine are still good but the cushion is finally bringing the heel height down a tiny bit. Not at all noticeable.
