I love these shoes. I have bought at least a dozen pairs over the past several years. I like that the top section, over the toes, is not mesh. It’s solid material that can be sprayed with waterproofing stuff (Scotchguard). I like that the sole and inserts are cushiony, and the shoes feel snug when tied. I have a bad habit of tying my shoes too tightly because I like them to feel secure on my feet, and then my feet start tingling. These shoes fit well, so I don’t have that problem. The arch support is perfect. I don’t have to replace the inserts in these shoes to provide additional arch support. Better than that, the arch of the shoe actually lines up with the arch of my foot! The sole/tread is not “slick.” You won’t slip and slide on smooth surfaces until you’ve worn the tread flat, which brings me to my rating. The only reason I don’t give these shoes 5 stars is because they start to wear out at the 6 month mark. I work from home, and I have different shoes for walking/jogging outdoors. Unfortunately, around 6 months the tread is flattened and the inserts have visibly thinned and in another month or 2 will be worn through at the heel and ball of the foot. I realize these are not “top of the line” $$$ walking shoes, but I feel like they should last a little longer than 6 months given that I mostly wear them indoors and around my backyard. Obviously I like them well enough that despite the (probably) planned obsolescence, I keep buying them. ... show more

Just got these, but so far I’m impressed. They appear to be well made and sturdy, and fit true to size. I have flat feet, and shoes will also affect my ankles and knees. These seem to be very supportive. My foot lands straight, and my legs don’t hurt. I seem to be walking upright, no stress on any joint. These shoes are comfortable and lightweight. I was surprised to find they have some arch support; generally I have to replace insoles with WalkHero or Powerstep to get support. My only complaint is the insoles are firmly glued in; if I have to replace the insoles later, it may not be possible. Update: I was able to remove the insole with not much trouble, and put in better support. Comfortable and sturdy sneaker. I haven’t worn them much because I need better ankle support. I do wish they were wider. My toes feel cramped. ... show more

The shoe fits OK except its missing 2 key elements that the D'Lites Lace up shoes on the Sketcher website have and also from my previous Sketcher Store bought shoes. 1) There is no pull Tab on either the Heal or the Tongue of the shoe. Lace up not Slip Ons. 2) The padding on the heals is less than the Sketcher store bought shoes. The shoes seem to fit Ok but the lack of padding in the Heals is noticable. ... show more
