I love these, even more than the Arcata canvas, which I thought was impossible. I have high arches and these are really supportive, no need for my supportive insole inserts. Many shoes now are made with fabrics that make my feet HOT and these canvas shoes do not. I would highly recommend.

I purchased two pair of these from two different Amazon links. The taupe is 8.5 regular and white is 8.5 wide. I figured the white would be too wide but they were on sale, and after reading reviews about how narrow the shoes are overall, I tried both. The wide (white) is a much bigger shoe overall than the taupe, lengthwise and height. Which personally doesn’t make sense to me. I have narrow feet, so I returned the white. I sized down in both widths, and perfect fit for 8.5 regular. In response to the arches - I have very flat feet and need arch support to straighten out my knees and avoid pain that I get regularly. I can definitely feel the arches. If you have high arches you probably won’t. I haven’t worn these walking for hours yet, but have been wearing them daily to break them in and so far so good (no knee pain, decent arch support). I wouldn’t say the insoles and outer soles are super soft and squishy (4stars would like softer insoles), but they aren’t rock hard and unbending like other brands of this style - thankful for that! The laces are stretchy, so I had to tighten them and double loop to get a slightly more snug fit around my ankles. Easy to put on, and I can see these being pretty durable.

I work at an elementary school and I’m on my feet all day. These are by far the best shoes I have ever purchased! My feet don’t hurt at all and they are so comfortable! Highly recommend!

Love Skechers in general, and have several pairs of other styles, including sandals. These are really cute sneakers. In the Washington DC airport, a young woman who was standing in the security line with me asked what brand they were, and she was thrilled to hear they were Skechers.

Cute shoes. I really loved the look, BUT… these are not for wide feet. Unfortunately, I found this out way too late while on my vacation. Couldn’t return them. They felt fine going on my feet, but that feeling didn’t last more than 3 blocks of walking.
