I can go to a shoe store, try on 20+ pairs, and walk out with NOTHING but the shoes I had on my feet when I walked in! The very first pair of Sketchers I tried on I purchased AND walked out with then on my feet! That also happened with the second AND third pairs I tried on; both different colors and slightly different styles. After showing and raving about these shoes to ALL my friends and neighbors, now THEY all own at least two pairs! And THAT is just how good and comfortable these shoes are to wear. These have been the counterpart to my daily workboots. Light weight, comfortable, pairs nicely with casual clothes or even business casual. However the cushion and softness causes them to wear out fairly quick. By 3 months the soles are always slick, and somewhat dangerous to walk wet ground with. If your feet roll in or out while walking, the support is usually gone within a couple months. You’ll end up feeling like you’re walking on the sides of your feet. However, they’re affordable enough to buy a couple pair throughout the year.

I had been wearing Skechers Classic Fit shoes daily for many years (going through, at least, five pairs), because they were comfortable. Then, I tried a pair of Skechers Slip-ons. And they sucked. I should have sent them back, but I gave them a few months (wearing heavy socks, so they didn't slip off when I walked) and it took seemingly forever to break them in. This purchase is a return to the Classic Fit. What a day and night difference. Super comfortable right out of the box. And suddenly, using a shoe horn isn't any inconvenience, at all.
