My mom has been buying these shoes for years and they are the ONLY pair of shoes that she finds comfortable for her workplace. She has to stand all day and has back issues from which the sturdiness of these shoes help her through a long workday without her back starting to hurt. NOT FOR YOU IF (CONS): You want memory foam insoles (these do NOT have those) Want arch support Wish to remove the insole for any reason You prefer more softness for your insoles.....these are stiff You like little padding overall in your shoes FOR YOU IF (PROS): You work somewhere that requires you to stand/walk all day (or if you have back/leg problems...or swollen feet) You seek a sturdy and super supportive shoe Want something lightweight but good quality so it lasts a while You dislike having to break in new shoes....these are comfortable straight from the box You have little to no arch in your feet ( NO arch support in these hardly at all ) You love a pair of shoes with some nice soft padding throughout You love toe space in your shoes If you wish to buy insoles for these, it might get a little tight with all the padding already in the shoe, but still an option. Overall, I believe these to be the best for when you are on your feet all day or are going on vacation and need a good pair of tourist shoes.     • Love me some Skechers!
I've been wearing Skechers for years now. When one pair wears out, I get another. I love that I can get plain black sneakers instead of the ridiculous, garish designs most others have. I want something that matches everything. For me, sneakers need to be comfortable and practical. I wear them all day long and flashy fashions that might look "nice" but cause pain don't make any sense to me. These Skechers are really very nice looking though! Not only that, they are super comfortable. My feet get sore really easily (I mean, really, like if I get up in the morning and walk around for 5 minutes in stockinged feet, they start to hurt), but I can wear these all day long. I do use gel inserts to add some cushion, though. I've never gotten a blister in a Skecher. They have a wide base so I usually feel pretty surefooted, even on rocky paths in the woods. The nubuck finish is very nice looking, too. There is one thing, though. Generally, I don't even have to break these in. I put new insoles in them, put them on, and I'm good to go. However, something about the tongue or around the tongue over the instep of usually just one of the shoes will push into my foot for a couple of days. It can be really uncomfortable, but after a few days, I guess they get a bit less stiff or something and then it never bothers me again. I do spend those couple of days trying to get that part of the shoe to get a bit more flexible, though. And it seems to work. So, if you are on your feet and you want to be comfortable, have your sneakers match everything and look great without being garish, then get these Skechers. Not only that, they are quite reasonably priced. You totally will get your money's worth out of them, and then some. ... show more

If you are not a true size ,go half the size up. Very pleased with purchase. I've had surgery on both my feet, taylor's bunion on one side. I wore New Balance for years ,their size always fit me , until all of a sudden it didn't. My foot size didn't change. It's taken me awhile to find another good shoe for a reasonable price. Im 70 lb overweight and this makes a difference in the pressure that my feet are under when walking. To my eye it looked like it would be too short but it's perfect. if you're exactly the size it will fit, but I caution you if your foot is a little longer than a true size. They are not tight on the side. Feels sturdy and flexible. I was able to wear them the first day - all day , and my feet feel great. Was delivered, quickly packaged well. ... show more

They are Skechers. What's not to love? I needed a pair of shoes to walk and row in that weren't made of mesh. I am hard on sneakers/tennis shoes and mesh ones just weren't cutting it. I walk uphill (on a treadmill) and my toes will wear out the mesh. Rowing will do that too if I don't pay attention (no rocking the feet!). These are perfect. They are comfortable and even though I am not a fan of white work out shoes, I am careful not to wear them anywhere else but to the gym and short stops at the store. I am not a fan of lace up shoes either but if you want your shoe to stay on your foot, well, you might need to lace them...LOL. These are very nice shoes. ... show more

These shoes are very well made. The workmanship is excellent. I like the fact that they come in wide width, as you will likely be able to find the right fit even if you have "Flintstone feet" like me! I'm very pleased with these shoes and I highly recommend.
